I searched the forums and was unable to find any information so I figured I'd create my own post. Sorry if this is covered elsewhere. Ok so I am new to HB and I came across Kicks SVN and have been using the 1-85 questing profiles and so far they have been great. The problem I have been concerned with is fly movement versus ground movement in the outland and northrend quests. HB seems to be using the ground mount for about 80% of my movement. It rarely uses the flying mounts and even when it mounts on a flyer sometimes I think its only because it choose the snowy gryphon at random and treats it as a ground. It uses flying mount for somethings such as picking up quests and turning them in but it seems that when it is traveling to objective hotspots it is ground mount only. When it needs to goto a vendor to sell or repair it seems to choose a ground path as well which is wasting so much time as not only is it a slower mount speed it is taking a road path which is a greater distance. It will also be on a fly path to a hotspot and then it stop like 100 yds before the actual quest giver etc and then change from flying mount to ground mount and go on foot the rest of the way. I have had a decent programming background so I will look into the issue and see if there is something I can do to change this otherwise if someone has any information to help me out in the mean time. EDIT: Ok so I just found this "Note: Fly Questing Profiles have FlyTo's, not NativeFlying FlyTo flies to and from objectives / quests and then use ground mount Native Flying (such as GB2) will always fly" I am going to assume that this is exactly what my problem is, meaning that the profile is working as intended. EDIT 2: The pictures were captured at 7:53:00 in the logs. This was the bot returning from a vendor after selling stuff. It took a ground path the whole way back to its quest objective location.
