I've agreed to "someone" to buy the mount "Hearts of the aspects" for 20k. At first I though it was a goldseller so I said yes and he gave me the code first. I knew it would dissapear within a day or two so I didn't pay for it. But now it's been 1 day already but it haven't dissapeared. He wants the money now, and I don't know what to do. It feels like it will dissapear when I pay for it.

      What should I do?

What i would do? Not pay for it, and enjoy the free mount.

What you should do, pay for it. You knew the risk when you agreed to buy it.

If I won't pay for it I'll get reported by him. So I'll loose the mount and blizz will probably start to supervise my account. That "dude" have also been contacting my Guild Master about this..

If I would pay, then I risk that he'll report me anyway or something. It feels like the mount will get removed and I'll loose the 20k, and also blizz will prob supervise my account.

Anyways I've said to the dude that I'll pay some of it everyday instead, but I think that when he finally gets the 20k he will report me and i'll loose the mount. But I'm not sure if he's actually bought it or just gave me a code that works for a few days... Feels wierd that he would buy it for 20 euro... spam like a goldseller, sell it for only 20k and then give me the code without getting paid first. This is so annyong , shouldn't have contacted him :/

Me personally, Id pay for it. I mean you knew the risks. And im suprised at how many people here are condoning ripping the seller off. I'd like to think of THIS place as a place where people can keep their word. IDK thats just in my head though. When I say im gonna do something, I do it. I hold a person accountable to their word, even through a video game. But thats just me. Do what you think you should, its ultimately your acct.

You will lose the mount once he either gets reported by enough people or the fake credit card rejects the payment. I lost 60k this way. If you pay up you won't get the gold back.

I just scoured through some forums dealing with this scam... I dont like ripping people off but yea im inclined to agree with Sid and the rest, now. Did he tell you the mount was LEGIT or did you know that it was a bunk code?

      I would pay the 20k.

First you don't realy know if its a goldseller, it could also be a normal person (yet you haven't disqualified this).
Second, 20k isn't a real amout of gold fo a botter, one ore two or three days (if you bot less) and you have it back.

If I where the gold seller I would report and creat as much tickets I can if you don't pay.
Why should I report you if you pay me? I have the money and that was all I want.
Okay I could use stolen credit cards and restore the money.
I think the money could be storned about 4 weeks or something about this (i'm realy not sure).

He could report you either you pay him or not. He could report you just because he is unlucky or blizz could remove the mount because hey removed the money.
You lose anyway so try it. You could have lick. He could remove the money anyway - undependet of your payment.
If he thinks he wouldn't get money from you he would remove the money more than ever

I'm NOT the gold seller, it was only a "what I would do IF i would be the gold seller".

Ye but the person who sold it whispered me in-game, not from here. And to be honest I'm not sure if it would be better to pay it, since it probably will dissapear anyway. But I would really feel sorry for him if he actually bought it and it's "white", in that case I'd love to pay for it, but I can't be sure. I really shouldn't had contacted him with my main character... stupid me.

He said it was an "okay" mount and that it wouldn't dissapear ofcourse. But he gave me the code real fast, I didn't even say yes to him before he gave it. So it seems wierd. But he copy and pasted the blizz mail and it looks good, but it's easy to do since you only have to replace name and bank number.

Well dont beat yourself up about it. You live and learn. Besides, 110 is right, its only 20k you can get that back in 1, 2 days tops using HB. Its no big deal. I say stick to your word, pay the dude, and go make more gold. And dont stress out about this.

Objectively and cynically, it doesn't matter whether you pay up or not. Blizzard doesn't support trading codes for gold and they will not take action against your account.

Subjectively, I fail to see logic behind your initial actions.

If he reports you Blizzard won't do anything because HE broke the rules when he tried selling it for gold. So you shouldn't worry about that.If he tries to ruin your reputation you should just deny everything, people probably won't believe him anyway.

I've been ripped of by guys like him in the past. I bought some Blizz Store pets. I paid for them one at a time and got the code after each payment. The very next day I had lost all of the pets and didn't get a dime back.

Like they say "if it sounds too good to be true, it probably is" and a 20k Blizz Store mount seems a little too good to be true to me. Keep the mount, keep the gold and move on.

1.- It's against the rules. Trading in-game money for real life money, account sharing.
2.- Not all of them are scammers. I've been scammed before, but I've also dealt with legit sellers (not the smartest way to buy gold, but that's the way they do it).
3.- If he was legit he will charge back if he can AND report you. Maybe both of you get in trouble, maybe both get off with a warning, that depends on the GM reviewing your case.
4.- If he was using a stolen credit card there's a chance it won't be taken away and there's a chance it will. That depends on the legitimate owner of the credit card and if he notices an unauthorized payment and what he does about it.

      TL;DR
If you don't pay him chances of you losing the mount are extremely high.
If you pay you have a chance of keeping it.

      Sidenote: Fuck scammers

You'll lose it regardless, but if you pay him the gold you'll never have it returned.

Maybe I am old fashioned but I would pay. If I had made a deal I would of this kind I would honour my part of the agreement. I could lose the mount but this would be a risk I took when I made the deal. If I could not afford to lose 20k gold gambling, I should never have gambled in the first place.

You should not be a dbag and give him the gold. It's only 20k. I haven't played WOW in a few months but last I checked 20k was like 2 days worth of botting on one account. I lost over 50k by buying all the store pets and mounts from someone. A few days later they were all removed, I put in a ticket and went on the forums about it. It was a fake/stolen card and I lost it all but didn't get banned. Oh well, it's just gold. A few months later I bought a year of gametime with gold for my 2 accounts. 85k per account. I had the gametime for months and never heard anything about it. The month before Diablo was released I got an email from Bliz saying they were removing all of it. They removed part and left part, a month later they removed the rest. Again, oh well. You knew the mount was cheap and the risk but you still made an agreement with the person. I'd report you if you didn't pay if I was the guy, it could be legit.

      UPDATE

I've agreed to give him around 1-5k every day instead. I've payed about 7k totally, but today when I logged in the mount was gone. I knew it... Still felt a bit safe since he was level 85, great gear and in the same guild. But I had my guessings, and that really helped me. Should I report him? Would be nice to get rid of him from this game, or will I just loose on it?

Don't report him.. As the post a little above me says "It's against the rules" and both of you can get in trouble.
