I'm using a Jedi Consular. I got off the ship in Taris and started the bot. It immediately ran into the wall. I stopped the bot and ran my character to the very first quest giver I could find. I stopped a short distance from the quest giver and restarted the bot. The bot took the quest from the guy, then ran outside and to the right until it hit a big door with a red screen blocking the door. My character just stood there running trying to get inside. Perhaps I could help the bot get inside if I knew where to find a missing quest giver, but I am new to SWTOR and I have no idea what quest to look for. I had a similar problem about half way through the lvl 10-17 profile and the bot never acted right afterwards. I thought perhaps it had something to do with my class quests not being completed, so I manually finished my class quests and got my ship. Then, I tried the bot again, and it still ran into walls. I took the character to the sector that the bot was pointed towards when it ran into walls, and it still ran into walls. So, I gave up and leveled by hand to level 17 before heading to Taris. Now, I'm in Taris and experiencing the same problems from the very beginning of the profile. Any suggestions would be helpful. Thank you!
Im guessing you forgot to take the class quest from your ships holoterminal right after landing in Taris. I did this same thing.
Thank you! I went back to the ship and got the quest off of the intercom that I had NOT NOTICED before. Then, I came back out of the terminal and turned on the bot. It has worked seemlessly (no problems) ever since. User error strikes again. I appreciate your assistance.
