I have an inactive account attached to my Battle.net account. If I use SoR to re-activate the account and begin botting on it, what is the likelihood that any actions Blizzard takes on it will affect my personal account on the same Battle.net account.

What about if I'm trading items or gold to my main account? I'm not talking about obscene stacks of farm or anything. I mean more like if I traded a companion to my main account or a few thousand gold when I need it. Has the community established some form of threshold as to what is too much to trade at once?

You mean deposit and withdraw via the guild bank? That's a pretty good idea. Are there any precautions I should take in doing so to make it less obvious? I would assume things like don't withdraw the same amount that was deposited and what not. Anything else?

They don't link the accounts using battlenet, they said so themselves. They'll treat them as though they are separate accounts otherwise no one would ever merge to the same battlenet.

Guild bank is the best method to transfer items between accounts on different bnet accounts, but after speaking to a GM they have no problem with you transferring large quantities to your own accounts on the same bnet.

Seems a little strange that they would treat them as entirely separate accounts but still consider them similar for the purposes of transferring large quantities of items/gold. Still, thanks for the advice.

Is there anything else I should make sure to avoid? Furthermore, if I were interested in selling gold/items what might be a good place to start looking?

I bought and merged 4 SoR at the same time to the same account and have been botting on them all. They all frequently transfer a shit load of items to each other. One of them got banned got abusive botting in uldum, which is true, but the others haven't been touched. If one account is banned for botting it doesn't mean the others botted. They are individual accounts paid on separate subscriptions, but you don't get banned for gold selling by sending mats to the same battlenet because, well, it's the same battlenet. Aint gonna sell to yourself. They can be linked the same way multiple bnets could be linked though.
