Anybody have the thumbnail bar freeze up on you so you? I have to go over to the computer and move the mouse to get it to sync back up. Anybody know a solution to this?
My VM takes about 5 minutes to open diablo and then it timesout when I try to join or start a game. Any idea what could be the problem?
Anyone else have to reboot their computer once a day to keep gph up? After 24hours my VM's start running reallllllly slow and hardly work unless I reboot.... :/
Has anyone figured out a way to run the game in under 800x600 resolution without the use of isboxer? been trying to figure it out since it helps lower the cpu usage but cant seem to find that information regarding the use of VMware.
I'm slightly confused, how are you able to stay under 5gb on the virtual disk having diablo 3 running and .net framework 4? I'm running windows 7 ultimate sp1 x32 lite v3 by nil-nt.iso as the modify OS.
Yeah, I understand that part. After running the .bat files and then running the command "C:\Diablo III\Diablo III.exe" -launch in cmd, it start to add files to the vm's hd for some reason.
Hey, first - thanks for a guide, I tried it and it works flawlessly (the setting up part at least). I have Code: i5-3570K (stock frequency) 16GB DDR3 Ram Ati 7870HD SSD 90 GB With 1 core/2GB ram per machine it feels really laggish. Regular "spikes" and generally not really running smoothly. And that's with 2-3 virtual machines only. I was really hoping to run 4 on my setup. Is my processor too bad for this, or do I need some additional optimization/overclocking on CPU?
It seems like I do. I didn't manually do it, but after first launch of every VM (first one and clones) it seems they were installed automatically. It also has "reinstall VMWare tools" if I right click on each VM, so I assume they are already installed. Some more info: I run D3 and DB manually (no reloggers, batch files), D3 is in 800x600 windowed with all the graphics dumbed down to minimum. My DB is not regular "light" sarkoth, I run 1st act champ farms using a bunch of plug-ins (this may be the problem, I will test this 1st thing I come back from work, because I can't really see if the lags persist through teamviewer - it adds it's own lag ), is it a good idea to elevate process priorities for D3 and DB? Which one should be higher? Any advice appreciated.
Strange as hell. It's definitely DB, but I can't figure out what exactly. Playing manually on a VM works flawlessly even if a couple of VMs are "lagging with DB" nearby. I tried putting DB "in" the VM completely, tried a fresh install of a DB, tried switching all plugins off, tried generic routine instead of Belphegor. Tried severely limiting pickup and loot radius. Still the spikes are there (the more monsters and objects around - the more spikes it seems). What a bummer =\ PS. Also I upped the clock on my CPU a bit, doesn't help either.
So I fixed my issues having my hdd load up with unessacry files... I didn't point to the files each time I started the vm. But now I'm having an issue getting d3 to load, the Logo appears then disappears after 30 seconds without having anything load. I double check that I edited the file correctly, and also increased my ram from 1336 to 1536 (this didn't change anything). Does anyone know what the problem might be? EDIT: Took a while I did a bit of trouble shooting, but I figured it out. works like a charm now.
I did everything right, now I wonder ... I first run the diablo 3 folder z:, launcher upgrade for him, al mdlink after I run? because I'm doing it the diablo 3 is updating and nothing .....
Sorry stupid question, but if my host has full US client and intend to buy Russian only version, would I have to download the Russian only client to run on VMware? I'm intending to only run one bot on VMware. Thanks I got everything setup and running, but my VMware runs so slowly! Running VMware 8 with the iOS linked. My physical pc is intel e8500 duo core. 4gigs ram. Crucial m4. It takes about 5-6 minutes for diablo 3 to load up on vm. VM current has 1.5 gigs ram on settings.
Why is diablo so choppy through VMWare? I am running a 3930k and a gtx 670 there is no reason it should be choppy with one diablo open in VMware
