Seen a few topics on here, like best way to bot, how much to spend on getting decent comp etc. My thoughts on this are if someone is a professional guy/girl who has some disposible income to spend on a hobby - say ?100/month (botting ofc) is it worth buying 1u or whatever from a server hosting site and running a few bots from there? Access is always by remote login so even if Blizz bans that server (having read some other posts on the diff ways they id you) they won't b able to compare ip addresses as they would be different. Also if they ban that ip/server, you can go to another company and start again. Anyone already doing this or has done this? Pros/cons? Btw any farming for anything would be for personal use only. Thx in advance for replies and thoughts on this.
let 3 bots run from your computer at home. i suggest 9 wow accounts. each account botting 8 hours. different realms, different professions. if you bot bad, 1 account should make 4k in 8 hours (500g/hour) so you will make 36k/day. do this 30days and you will have 1kk gold. 1kk gold is about 200euro (maybe 250us$? idk)if you sell to chinese goldbrookers. if you can sell your gold direct to buyers (forums/ebay) you can probably get the double amount. so after 1 month, you will be able to buy a second cheap pc, with 3 botaccounts/9wow accounts again, and earn 400euro/month... continue until the fuses cant deliver enough ampere to your computers anymore.
@cg1203im yeh that's a great suggestion if I wanted to sell gold, but that's not what I want to do. It's just for making me hold. Also I was talking about using a proper server hosting company not running the pc's out of my house. @Teveel As I said it's going to be a hobby of mine so I don't mind spending the money. What I want to know is how viable it is- I.e. it is a pretty undetectable way right? Also with virtual servers there is not gonna be a problem running several bots at the same time whilst being able to log in and start and stop them at will.
get a real hobby... why spend money on a shit economy when ur not going to sell the gold. theres no point ... at all. no offense but seems utter retarded.

i have thought of the same, investing about 250 USD into 10 keys, accounts etc, the hard thing is making enough gold before getting em all banned, what methods do you have in mind?
I don?t know company that can rent you server capable of running WoW (most servers don?t have graphics card) and also cost for server capable running more WoW clients in virtual machine (i think that VMware can run WoW in virtual machine on server without graphics card) is about 100-500$/month . Well what I had in mind was not botting 24/7. I was thinking like 6 miners on separate accs. 1 for mining for me (makings into bars for my bs and suchlike) 2 for prospecting and 3 for putting into a Guild bank, for private customers. What I would do is either set up or buy (if I had enough gold) a guild and invite ppl to it. Offer like 5k to everyone who has been online within the last week (something like that) of gaining a guild level 5k each for helping level guild plus bonuses for the toons getting most progression. Offer guild repairs and some small potions/mats to help people. Only show one guild tab to the regular guildies. Private buyers start off with being able to buy say 10 stacks then on to 20, 30, 40 etc. As you get to trust em you can give more access. The gm acc should be separate and not ever be botted on. also have like a deputy gm acc if you can afford it which should be separate again. If you do his right, you should have money rolling in, at the start of MOP. Once you have a few million in, invite top pvp'ers who can get guild all the pvp achieves - I would personally offer like 100k on completion of said achieves. Also once you have some guildies offer like 20k for every toon levelled on the "stay classy" achieve. You will need these achieves to be able to buy more bank tabs. Obviously the bots would be guildies and pumping in ore all the time. Then to "launder" the money, you have one of your main acc toons join he guild and win a contest for like 200k or something. Add another in and win again etc. hopefully if you have a busy running guild Blizz ain't gonna be able to check everytime money is taken out of the guild by you. Do the same for a guild but offer herbs. 6 more bots herbing only all of them herb/alch for transmutes. Maybe one extra that is inscription and some complimentry proffas well. The gm's should be level 90's. For the mining guild gm one make them jc/ench. Sell scrolls and cut gems on AH, Darkmoon decks should be easy with 6 herbers. Gonna take a little effort but I think the best way. What do you think?
Ty - this is the kind of input I am looking for. Am not able to check the link before I type this response, so maybe an uneducated response by me. I think even Xeon chips now have built in graphics (that are good enough to play fps games) so maybe things are a little different now. But, yeah it may be a challenge to find the right hosting company that can provide graphics.
Don?t bother with server botting there are more cons than pros. You need box licence (no OEM) for Windows (usualy Win Server 2008), server with GPU (Xeons in most servers don?t have GPU), Integrated GPU in Corei3/5/7 is not capable to run more than 1 or 2 WoWs with good FPS (HB is dependent on FPS) and i don?t think so that some company will give you good GPU in your server (most of companies have Blade-type servers). Basically it is better for you build some low cost but still good computer and have it somewhere in your house
