Someone should develop an achivement bot

I think an achievement bot would make a great addition to honorbuddy. It would be extremely marketable and desirable for people looking to improve their botting advantage and overall game play and i think it should be considered.

Would be an awesome idea, but I think there's a thread just for that? Maybe not. Just check the Submitted Profiles. I know I have seen some that do the achievement for killing and /hug to critters, and you can get achievements from running the Explorer one, or even Archaeology gives achievements.

This doesn't make any sense. Most of the achievements you do come from questing, exploring, professions, instances, and raids. All of which can already be leveled and completed using various profiles. It sounds like you want what is already available simplified.

I'm sorry, but with the amount of achievements that are in the game, it would take someone practically forever to get them so that they could be written into a bot base, or even into a profile for a bot base to use. As it stands, there are profiles that are used with various botbases that get some of the easier achievements. Also, there are achievements that can't be gotten outside of a dugeon / raid group. There are just some achievements that the bot will never be able to get because it's a bot. Sometimes, these achievements require human interaction to obtain, and therefore will not be obtainable by HB. While I can appreciate the idea you have, its merit and validity are lacking. Just my thoughts on the issue.

This can be done via profiles etc with all the current bots, If there was particular achieves you wanted, I am sure you could post in a thread for a request profile. But besides that I think there is too many achieves that it is easier for us to use search find what we want and do what the thread says. That is alot of work for the devs to dedicate for just achieves when 99% of them can be done using current existing bot states. Though it is a cool idea dont disregard that. It seems more of all your asking for is a simple lazy easy compiled area for achieves so that you dont have to make the effort to find the profiles or figure out what to use to get them accomplished.

 

Do you know you can actually do this with the toolbox that HB offers? Just use your brain and you'll be some achievements richer in no time ^^

 

Achievements are useless unless you're gaining an item etc so best to leave it in profiles.

 

I could understand why the OP wants this though. It could be for mounts, titles, or whatever, but those things are generally offered through meta achievements such as raid's and feats of strength. So, basically you'd still need a raid group for those, unless you're just rep grinding for titles, and then if that's the case you can just use profiles and grind bot. Just sayin' I can see why, if you didn't really know all the possible ways to get achievements using the bot.
