Im currently getting it to farm herbs/minerals in uldum . mining and herb is max lvl. its just trying to mine when any enemy is on me. it wont fight back. i noticed cause it drained all my gold (150g) after it got stuck trying to repair. how do i fix this? and also , i had it on professionbuddy yesterday before i realised it wont work when ur at max lvl. it sold all my gems for like 3g ea and 8g ea . when the ones in the AH were selling at 80 ea lost me more gold.
this is ridiculous I know --- i did the same thing... and just got killed everytime - - I also try and do dungeon base --- and it ques for dunegon - however doesnt accept when it pops up ... I also tried farming mining --- and my char kept running into a rock... so stupid
Unless you kept dying, and I mean dying over and over to make your gear need repairing, then the bot won't go repair. I've been using HB since mid 2009, maybe earlier, and it's never "drained" my gold by getting stuck at a repair NPC. It's sold everything in my bags a couple of times, but that was due to some plugin issues not closing the vendor window when the bot tried to do something. So, I can't say I know what happened with the gold, but I can say that I've had the bot sell my items. It's a risk we all take. As for mining and herbing? I'd suggest not using professionbuddy. Use GatherBuddy2. It's listed in the botbases drop down. Find a profile on the forums for the area you want to mine, ensure you're using a CC that supports movement in case your toon needs to move (I suggest Singular or CLU, and ensure movement is enabled), and make sure you don't have any unnecessary plugins. You're really only need the antidrown one, Tidy Bags Reloaded 3 (I think it's called), maybe Allrounder, eLootFixer (if you want it to loot corpses of things you killed), and that's about it. If you're using InstanceBuddy it will only support low level dungeons. DungeonBuddy is still in a sort of BETA stage. It only works on a couple of dungeons for Cataclysm since they're all still being scripted. The queuing issue with DungeonBuddy is known, and it's being worked on. It's supposedly fixed in the next version that releases, but we shall see. As for your mining, I'd suggest using GatherBuddy2 for your mining and herbing needs, and avoid the others unless you know how to troubleshoot and look at code, and also to figure things out with software. I try to avoid it as the scripts aren't flawless, but sometimes you just have to suck it up and do things by hand to a certain point. Keep in mind, it's a bot, and it's not going to be perfect. It will do weird things, it will make you angry, it will make you stressed, but it will also work out once you get the swing of things and figure out how to go about it. It's worth the money, you just have to take the time out to get used to using it.
