Well, I bought HB a couple of weeks ago, these are my results so far 1x 70 Hunter, Herb/Mining 75k Honor Points, 9 days, 2 hrs 1x 64 Deathknight Alchemy/Jewelcrafting 11 hrs I'm using the bot to see if i can make some extra money because I need to buy a new wheelchair, which costs around $2.2 k, and my monthly salary is around $900. So thats pretty much my goal, I'll update the thread with my progress and even post pics of the chair when I buy it! Advice and tips are more than welcome!

Your issues are going to be two-fold from what I've seen. Prices are low...less than $2/1k in some cases. Selling gold is risky and seems to attact Blizzard's attention quickly and easily. The people who are surviving the longest are the ones that only are earning for personal use, at least that's been my experience. My suggestion is do this for fun and just build up gold. Get a few 100k spread around on a few characters before you even sell a single gold. Getting your farming accounts banned while they are earning is only going to prolong your process. At least if you stock pile the gold then you can offload a bunch of it quick and hopefully make some money before the account(s) get taken. Good luck
Yeah, actually my plan is to get 1 vanilla trading account for each 2 farming accounts that I have, and also have a vanilla account for stock pilling gold (cause i believe that the price of gold will go up in the first week of Cata, then crash dramatically). My plan is to start selling until i have a good Guild Vaults system to move the gold, and only sell from a Vanilla account, in a remote computer in a neighboring country (using GoToAssist express) I know its not fools prrof, but I'm trying to be as safe as possible. Any more advice will be well received.

How do you setup a VPN correctly? I have a connection at work I usually use for botting but would be great if I could VPN from home to the work connection but be able to bot from home. I get a little paranoid and don't like botting on the same IP as my main account.
first of all you need a vpn provider ( i'd not use a free one, they are slow as f* - usually its not more than 5$ a month - depends on the provider you choose ) simply go in the windows control panel - then open the Network Connections item in control panel. Choose the 'create a new connection' next Connect to the network at my workplace next Virtual Private Network connection next Enter a name next then type in the login data and its done.
No, you can choose the location for your vpn server. like for example you live in sweden or smth, you can get a uk vpn server and will give you an uk ip.

As long as you have a machine that can run an SSH server you can easily create an SSH tunnel using PuTTY and then use a program like SocksCap or the like to force WoW through your SOCKS proxy. Not my directions, but these are pretty good: http://www.driven-monkey.com/?p=5 This also works for getting through most firewalls because you can setup your SSH server to listen on port 80 if you wanted. Most firewalls aren't going to block http requests.
unless you are out of the country there is honestly no reason to even be dealing with a VPN. I have been testing for several months how to protect myself from ban's and actually the machine that is running via a VPN by same way as Anegus described has about 17% more ban's than the one I am running without any ip / mac protection. BUT once I bumped up the ammount of account per machine to 15 accounts per machine the VPN pulled way way way ahead in ban ratio. The NON VPN pulled a astounding 33% more ban's than the VPN. So all that being said. IF you plan on running just a couple of accounts don't bother with the experience of a VPN. IF you are setting up a larger farming operation then defintley invest in a VPN OR dual internet (VPN would be far more cost effective.) The other bit of advice I will give you is spread yourself out. IF you need a list of servers that are highest volume of gold movement give me a PM and i will explain how to get a current list.(unsure if i am allowed to post the url to the buyer on these forums so i am not for saftey of HB)
