[Test Release 5.0.x] : The New Release (7.04 MB) Is this the "final copy" of Honorbuddy at the moment? Should I download this one and get it working or wait for the "idiot-friendly" one? Or is this the "idiot-friendly" one? I haven't been on since one version was released a while ago. Could someone please update me?
It is basically the latest release but with a lot of functionality not working. Currently there is no "stable" version of honor buddy to use in live right now. So it is up to you whether you want to use it. The only thing I could get to work is the bg bot and I only used it in AV, archaeology and questing are definitely broken, not sure about gathering, haven't tried that yet. Maybe someone else can tell you what is exactly working and not working.
if you dont mind not 100% afk quesitng, from what i have experienced in the last two hours, 90% of it is afk, only things that are broken are the "special loot" items. EX. as EPL felhound loot 10 "felhound blood", or hellfire loot "mechanical gears" from ground
Certain profiles and behaviors work, some don't, but it is not safe to afk with the questing profiles I would think, just because some behaviors are still buggy. I used to be able to do hijal 100% afk, now I can't go 10 minutes without something stoping the bot. Deepholm so far has been a much better experience, but still stops on certain quests.
A lot depends on class currently too. Nothing works on my rogue, my dk kind of works as frost, my mage is fine. It's very hit or miss. The patch that I just downloaded completely broke singular though.. so I'm waiting for an update :X
