I dont see unstuckme in the list of plugin's, what am i doing wrong? have everything on the latest version.
Finally got mine last night while I slept. Here are my details. 24% Running 1.2 (1.3 seems to find the wretched pit exit and takes it even if the rest of the sewer has not bee explored.) Kill Radius 75 yards, Loot radius 100 yards. (It seems this was the key for me. I had the kill at 100 and loot at 120 because my monk is so fast I didn't want to miss anything, but I actually increased my legendary's per session when I lowered it) MF: 316% without NV Stacks 391% with I ran with my templar and with air ally (increased spirit regen from air ally and increased magic find from templar) Monk build: Templar rush (Tailwind), Fists (Thunder Clap), Mystic Ally (Air Ally). THIS PROFILE WORKS. I doubted it... tried other profiles and got manold ring and more legendaries but never the signet. THIS PROFILE WORKS!!!!!!!! Thank you so much!!
Raising the kill radius can actually hurt your bot more than help it by causing stucks. Also, I'd recommend CIGGARCs champ hunt profile over this one.
My suggestion to add to this already great profile would be: Black Canyon Mine Road to Alcarnus Road to Alcarnus North to Stinging Winds Oasis Sewers of Caldeum through the Wretched Pit I tried to stitch this together, but my programming skill isn't high enough. Seems if you started at 7.3 or whatever the last quest was, then you could run oasis and port into sewers, bypassing the royal audience part. I am currently burning thru this profile better than 12 x per hour and I want to steer well clear of the limits. That said, I really love all the hard work put into this profile and all the patience he has had in dealing with "bad luck" posters.
This profile is made from their profiles, however it varies in that after Alcarnus it goes to the palace and does the quest, then the sewers through the Wretched Pit. This area has been reported from multiple sources as being "the spot" to farm the ring. The latter half of the origional A2 champ farming profile, the mobs begin to fall outside the brackets of what can drop the ring. You cant start at quest 7.1, the palace and sewers would be empty/unavailable. You cant do oasis before the sewers, it doesnt unlock untill a ways after the wretched pit. It doesnt make sense to add areas after the wretched pit, dungeon exploration is buggy and would make anything after the pit unreliable.
About 9 days ago, I found my first ring. Yesterday, I found another. Here is the full experience. Perhaps other players have been having similar experiences, as to possibly find a pattern if there is one. After I got my 1st ring, I was like "awesome this works!" I committed more than 60 hours afterwards finding legendary crap. At one point I was finding nothing at all, not one legendary. This lead me to believe something was wrong with the pick up system, but I've tested it picking up legendary items. How frustrating. Later, I gave up. I did other profiles and tried a few other things. Some progression is better than nothing. Yesterday I read a post here, about someone finding a ring within a few hours and finding a second over 140 hours afterwards. This gets my mind to thinking. Could blizzard have implemented a time cap on finding a ring? This inspired me to launch a test. I hadn't searched for the ring in over 5 days. Why not give this theory a shot. Low and behold, only hours after initializing I had a LS. No freaking way. No way! I was happy to say the least. Was this pure luck? Here is an example of my theory. If you found a ring within a reasonable amount of time the 1st time. Let's say a 3-6 hours. That time no matter what % ring you acquired would be well worth it, so awesome! With a time cap, you wouldn't have any chance of finding a ring until, let's say 3 days, or 72 hours. Not worth your time until after the theoretical cap. Not so awesome. My question for people who have farmed this for a while. Do you see a similar pattern like I've mentioned? If so, after finding your first ring. You would want to do something else for a 72 hours or so. If not, than it's simply random. Current Details: 2HMonk, 300% MF, No airspirit, No npc helper. Monk - Game Guide - Diablo III Running 1.2, Tried out 1.3, but sticking to 1.2. Main reason: There is an elite pack of snakes that are sometimes in the sewers, 1.3 will skip the possible discovery of them if it finds the ladder to the next area 1st. Running GilesTrinity, I would say current, but he has many updates. Just stick with the newest one when they come out. Kill radius 40 Pick up radius 50 I dropped my Kill and Pick up radius for two reasons. I have heard the too high a radius can mess with DB. Secondly, getting rid of my spirit pretty much prevented anything to die too far or off screen. This was the radius I found the ring on, so it's fine. Now that GilesTrinity has code to handle barricades on it's own over DB's built in code, destroying the barricades in the sewers after Caldeum seems to be much more reliable and removes the need for UnstuckMe. This is good because UnstuckMe was mainly only used for its "destroy destructible's on stuck" code, and would sometimes trigger false stucks which lead to problems with Caldeum and the Sewers. I'm currently working on the bot exploring the sewers, doing the pit, and then making its way to the Oasis. At the moment the bot nearly makes it all the way to the oasis, i'm just having issues with the last portal you need to take prior to the one that takes you to the path to oasis, DB see's it but doesn't want to use it for some reason. Ill be going over the code this afternoon and this evening before/after my night class this evening, so if all goes well there will be a new update out in the next few hours that increases the duration of the profile quite a bit.
Truncated quote for relevance. No there is no time cap, you have no data/support for this. I've found 5 rings total in about 12 days (found 3 since my last post in this thread), found 2 rings in a day, went multiple days with all trash legendaries. At one point, I had seen NO legendaries until my first ring, now I regularly find 3-4 a day. I think it's effectively all luck and should be modeled as such, but good luck with your testing... get scientific. Although tbh we can't really know until a developer who worked on the looting system chimes in :/
This profile getting stuck for anyone else? The new DB Update corrected some of the "stucks" but the sewer, sometimes right after it waypoints in it just runs north into the wall for 5 minutes.
1.2 is the most reliable as far as stucks go, it doesn't go to the sewer. The sewer is at the end of the profile because of its chances of getting stuck, if you dont like getting stuck at the end of a profile (which will just reset if you do) than use 1.2. The stucks in the sewer come from Demonbuddys random dungeon exploration ability, the better it gets the less you'll have stuck issues.
I have 2 characters botting to find the ring.. Been botting for over 2 weeks now, haven't found a single one. I've found shitloads of other low level legendaries (which suck) but absolutely no ring. Perhaps my loot rules doesn't include jewelry? I'm using the default rules that comes with Demonbuddy. Could anyone please share their loot rules that only picks up all legendaries and nothing else? It's pretty bothersome to have to clean out my stash from level 14 rares everyday.
Try to be as detailed as possible as to what you are doing. Running 1.2 or 1.3? Loot radius and kill Giles ver. Build MF MS Etc... Check out some previous posts about what other info is important to post. Then, we can try and assist.
Just want to thank the OP for creating a great profile. Bought Demonbuddy last night and this was the first profile I decided to try out, being as my characters have crappy gear and selling a Leoric's Signet would give me enough gold to build up one of my characters to farm some inferno. Have not found the ring yet but after watching it for a while I can tell it's doing a good job - selling all blues/yellows but putting all legendaries in the stash. Thanks!

I had mentioned a few days ago I had an update in the works that would add the Oasis to this run. Well, at the moment I seem to be locked as to the progress I can make on this, and here's why: After escaping the Caldeum palace, the profile will currently explore through the sewers and, if successful, will kill the mini-boss in the Wretched Pit. The profile then takes the portal to town and ends. In the update, instead of ending, the profile will run back into the Caldeum Bazaar, use the sewers there, talk to Hakkan, and then use the portal behind the gate Hakkan has opened. It is this last stretch, and merely exploring this area and using the exit portal that has the profile coming to such an abrupt end before the oasis, and herein lies the problem: The ActorID for both the return portal (the one you'd take to return to Hakkan's room) and the portal that exits to the Oasis have the same ActorID. Now I am aware you can reference locations for where the Object (portal) should be for it to be used, but I do not believe this would work in a randomized area such as this as the coords would constantly change (I may be wrong here, feel free to enlighten if you know different). So, at the moment, the profile takes the second to final portal, then on the other side sees it as the exit to Oasis (which it isnt) and just ports back up and bugs out. If you are familiar and would like to take a look at the code, send me a message. But currently if there is no workaround to distinguish between two Actor's/Objects of the same ID within a randomized area, that may be the end of this idea. Picture added for clarity:
