No, i wouldn't. But the bot is very useful, doing these boring stupid things. I like raiding and instances, but the rest?, Big Thanks to bossland!

By the community, you mean the new 12 year old kiddies who suck at the game?

I would, albeit not as much. I think now that I started botting that I am less likely to take one of my breaks away from the game every 3-4 months. If I don't feel like playing on a particular day, I can always just bot on my 4 accounts.

Probably not. Game is boring as hell right now, I'm only botting botting botting to stock up for MoP and get rich again.

I loved the first days where everybody was playing RP, even on PVP servers. I loved world PVP between Tarren's Mill and Southshore (still the only real PVP for manly men in my opinion). I loved when hitting 60 and getting your mount less than a month later inspired respect. I loved it when I spent my nights raiding with my Greek / Scottish / Swedish guild back in BC.
Now I just don't give a shit. Wrath's leveling zones were awesome, but nothing remarkable after this. Cata is shallow to the point it's laughable. MOP looks like it could bring some freshness scenario-wise but the rest is hopeless.
So now the game is botting. Fine-tunning stuff just gives me a boner.

Now and then I stop everything automated to experiment my hunter theory-crafting during a raid with some friendly guild, but that's pretty much all.
When I want to play an actual game, I just launch Crusader Kings II.

I would not play WoW without a bot, simply because everything takes way too damn long.

      Blizz would need to:
      - Add a lot more portals to the game and make them easier to use (more portal locations and full portals area in all major cities).
      - Reduce leveling time a lot.
      - Reduce cost of honor/conquest/justice/valor items a lot.
      - If no bots existed, reduce requirements of materials for crafting professions or make gathering mats much faster.

Then maybe I would play without a bot, but even then it would probably still take too much time.

The number one reason every other MMO fails with me is because I played wow for too long and now the bullshit leveling of professions and the gear grind is totally done with me. when pyrox dropped it was either find a bot or never play a mmo again ....

ask me why i quit swtor ...no bot is the answer btw because i liuked the game more than panada ,..,,.

Yep I'd still play, I only really use it to level skills I cant be bothered with or to level to 85 because I cant be bothered. I play the rest legit like arena, bgs, raids etc, the stuff I enjoy.

Yea I have given HB a month now, It is still not working so I canceled my latest keys I bought. Unsubbed all 12 wow accounts and I am done.
It was a good run; I had fun. But it is time to move on.

NO i would just play GW2 if i didnt bot / free rotation, why i dont know, i just tend to get bored of paying ?8 a month for a game that is 7 years old. with the new expansion hopefully it will change my mind a bit about the money situation.

HB was the only reason i subbed to wow for my last year of playing it - although even that wore thin after a while and the game just stopped having any entertainment value whatsoever.

Depends on what expansion it was.

TBC was amazing. I would play it by hand.
      WoTLK. eh, probably not.
      Cata - Just no.
MoP i actually really like and I enjoyed leveling my first toon by hand, so I play it all the time by hand.

Yes, I would. Even though my love for; gold, titles, mounts and other oddities is great.
I play WoW because I enjoy the game. I enjoy the lore, the fantasy and I have even made a few friends on there which I have met up with in real life and had a smoke session with.
I don't think botting has or ever will ruin the direct gameplay of WoW, on my realm they actually like botters because they are financial casulties and undercut each other so much that ore/leather/cloth/gems are literally worth a couple of gold a piece, which in turn makes everyone else on the server richer as they have spent less gold on the item they wished to craft.
I, personally, only bot things which I don't have time to do personally; rep grind, dailies and herbs/ore, it is purely selfish and for my own gain as I don't sell what I gather and only bot as much materials as I need. Less time spent botting = less chance being banned.

      Yes I would.
For me, botting is just a business.
My main account, I use for playing, have absolutely no contact with my farming char. they are even on different servers.

Unless the only reason you 'play' the game is to make $$$ then the answer should be yes. It really doesn't take that much effort to level and grind the gold you need. Yeah it's a fuck load better having a bot do that boring shit for you, but if you actually enjoy the end game, the small time and effort needed for the rest is easily worth it.

Botting is just like smoking - once you start you cannot stop again.
      Simple as that. :)

No I wouldn't play any more.

main reason is WoW expansions have gotten worse over the years and the latest "Pandaria" is totally ridiculous. Real life people cannot play 24/7, and expecting real people to grind for reputation, harmonies and so on.. just to have fun, well it's just not realistic to say the least.

Therefore there is only one way to enjoy the game, bot your toons to grind for hours to get the ridiculous amount of items needed for gear, so that you can advance in the game.

I don't even make a whole lot of gold, I just bot so that after work, I can actually enjoy to play wow without the tedious grinding necessary.

If honorbuddy didn't exists, Blizzard would definitely have 4 less monthly subscriptions, and considering the whole family feels that way were looking at a minimum of 10 less monthly subscriptions. In a year Blizzard would be losing $1,794.00 worth of subscription if boting dies.
