I haven't been botting for very long (max a week) but I can tell that it's a easy cash cow. I started 2 days ago with 800g on my shaman and after 2 days I am close to 20k by just selling herbs. I have a private buyer for these herbs so I underpriced them from the AH my bank could be close to 30k if I were to AH them but because my server is kidna dead because people are waiting for MOP I made a good deal. Tip for all you who want to make gold, go after Whiptail alot of the inscribers will need it for the new glyphs system thats coming in mop(Whiptail is used to make ink). With those things you farm Volatile life which is needed to make a Cauldron of Battle so they are worth alot as well. Thanks for the good service on this forum! Regards, Quadro
Very nice to have a personal buyer so you wont have to flood AH with herbs, reducing your risk of getting the banhammer FIRST!
Yea well I generally don't place more than 15 stacks at a time of an item to stop flooding. If I flood I just nuke my own pricing because of constant undercutting ^^.
Well flooding and flooding, I have about 300-400 auctions, and have had that the last couple of weeks. Only thing I've heard, is someone whining via mail about me undercutting him. but on topic: GZ with your gold
My server has a top guild that just purchases all herbs and ore for AH value, makes it really easy to unload thousands of gold worth of mats.
I understand that it's less risky to sell to a private buyer. Would you still consider it "risky" to sell in large quantities to a private buyer? Just wondering.
It's always a risk, no matter how likely the chance of getting caught is. I've personally sold over 100k worth of herbs and ore to one buyer in one day, and did not get banned. I've done it many times in the 20-50k range as well.
