Hi guys. i "think" this is combat related... I wanted to grind on my lock. At first i couldnt because he was trying to use abilities like "soul harvest" that were not even around anymore. i soon figured i needed to update the CC files in my specific routines folder. However.. no matter which combat routines i use from the forums, if i go to "class specific" settings on my bot, its empty. There is ntohing in there i can change ever. Is there anyway to get some settings to appear in the class specific bit ? I appreciate any feedback.
Probably the best thing to do is start by attaching a full log file. From the looks of it you probably need to update your HB. Best bet would be to do a download and full reinstall. Just try running with Singular (the default CC) first.
hi Croga. i updated it last night as it was first time i had used it in a year. I tried using the default one but i couldnt, my Warlock was trying to use spells that dont even exist anymore and it would just SPAM (casting Soul harvest) or (Casting Fel Armour) and nothing would happen. it was defo up to date it even said "hb needs updating click here etc" Once i changed the class specific routines to one from the forums it stopped trying to use out of date spells, but leaves my "class specific" tab in my bot empty. Also if i try and edit the bot config on grind mode with these profiles all i can do is tick or untick a box which says somthing about ground mount farming. not sure if this is right either... quite frustrated, having to farm AV atm as thats all that works well
I am at work atm so cant attatch a log. Neither do i know how to if im honest (i saw a thread on it in the guides bit so i will learn how to do it and send one later) As for your question... erm.. i basically deleted all the files out of the Rotuines / class specific / Warlock folder, and changed them with ones from the forum. There were 5 in total, 3 different specs, plus 2 other folders called common.cs and lowbie.cs. That fixed the problem of my Lock using "old spells" even with the new version of the bot. But i know im still doing somthing wrong here...

Thanks Buzz. i did check this page. it confused me as from what i could gather i need to download another program called Tortoise SVN ? And then some how get that program to talk to Honnour buddy? Just looking at it i predicted disaster . is it easier to do than i think ? Again any advice much appreciated.
Yeah, it is an external program called "TortoiseSVN" to handle external sources.(You will love it after some time.) If you need a video guide, there are plenty on youtube or anywhere else. A written guide by kick is also available. Thanks Buzz. i have another question. The CLu link you gave me. by reading it, i get the impression if i download that program and use the attatchments i end up with some sort of bot configured mainly for pvE Raiding ? how am i to incoporate this program to help grind mobs using profiles that people create so that i can level characters? Sorry if im missing somthing obvious or if this is a stupid question ?
Nah, it is a valid question. At first it was a so called "lazyraider CC", which means, you do the movement and the bot does the rotation stuff. Since Wulf is a great dev, he added movement and targeting support for his CC/Routine. So you could use it to Grind/Quest your chars. There is a different version of CLU for PVP. The Version you would now download is mainly for PVE Raiding, yes, but this doesnt mean it isnt capable to grind some mobs.
Dude, you are the nicest, most helpful new-user question-asker I have seen in a long time Since I don't know anything about CLU I won't be able to help you but with your demeanor I'm sure all of the visitors on this forum will gladly lend you a hand. Kudos mate, we've had too many whiners as of late so I'm really happy to see that there's still people around that are just sincerely looking for solutions.
ok that makes sense. last question. Does that mean i can upload a "gridning profile" from the forums, instead of uploading the profile on the link you gave me "Blank Profile.xml " Because yo ucant use 2 profiles at once?
The blank profile is outdated, it was an old way to use the combat bot/routine. Just select "Grind Bot" and download a profile of the Forum, easy.

Problem is i will now bug you constantly for solutions as i know your nice muhaha . tbh i could really do with sitting on Skype with one of you guys and talking through some of this, i havelots of questions in my little head and its wasy easier to solve problems that way hah
So i do this while having this program called Tortoise SVN running? in a nut shell ? Am i on the right wave lengh lol.
We are getting closer, haha. Tortoise SVN is just a download/update tool for things you can download here. There are people who put all of their stuff in SVN and there are people who upload *.zip files. A SVN is just a quick way of distributing new and updated data. You just download the stuff into your HB/Rotuines/CLU folder and then start the bot like you would normalls do. Then select Grind Bot and load any profile you like.
Ahh i see. So i go to clu-for-honorbuddy - Revision 540: /trunk/CLU and i dowload all those folders into my HB/Rotuines/CLU (im not at home, but im assuming there is a folder called CLU inside the routines folder based on what you said) And Tortoise SVN is the program i use to actually dowload these files for me ? By pasting the link in it or somthing? (havent dowloaded it yet) Or can i just right click all the folders and save them manually without even using this SVN program ? Thanks for all this help !!
Yeah, now we are very close, this is taken of another CC: Download and Install SVN from here TortoiseSVN - Downloads 2. Creat folder Honorbuddy\Routines\TuanHA-Monk 3. Right Click Folder TuanHA-Holy-Paladin, select SVN CheckOut... 4. URL of reposity: tuanha-monk - Revision 7: /trunk/TuanHA-Monk 5. Checkout directory: (by default is YourDirectoryPath\Honorbuddy\Routines\TuanHA-Monk 6. Click OK See? You make a svn checkout onto a folder with the link you just posted and it will DL all files automatically.
Hi Buzz. Just thought i would give you some feedback. Last night i played about using your trips and advice. using the SCL instead of singular worked great, and Totrtoise was easier to use than i had predicted. once i found a good profile i had a succesfull grind over night, 16 million exp or so in 8 hours. i notice the options are still very limited. In class specific i can literally only choose what pet to summon and thats it. Im not sure if ther ewill be more updated CCs to come with moP being so new but i hope so. i still dont undertand why my bot config only lets me tick or untick "ground mount farming" any idea what this even does ? if i tick it my profiles seem to not engage combat so i dont bother but it annoys me not knowing.
