[Warsong Gulch] PVP Profiles - Horde/Alliance

Here they are. They've been updated once again.

Horde and Alliance attached.

 

Trying out now...

 

I've noticed a couple of spots where it's getting stuck on the Horde version - on the way to the first waypoint after the battle starts, it gets stuck on the edge of the floor next to the ramp. It's also having some trouble with the spikes along the front of the Horde base - especially the large spikes right on the building, the ones next to the gate, and the one on your left after you make the turn. It seems better once you die, but at the start of the battle, it's definitely noticeable.

This may be Tauren-specific because of the size, but if the hotspots could be moved a tiny bit further away from the spikes, and perhaps a bit of a straighter shot into the gate, it would be helpful.

I'll keep running it for a while and see if I notice anything else weird. Other than those snags, it's looking good.

Could someone who already used HB2 for pvp'ing tell me if it is a big difference between hb and hb 2 in fighting etc...

I would like to try this profile for my first time using HB to pvp lvl up.

 

With HB 2, I could be wrong, but the profiles are pretty redundant because the meshes would be downloaded automatically.

In WSG, unless you are killing or being killed you ride in circles anyway so I would avoid this BG. It screams 'Report me'!

My profile doesn't ride in circles. It goes through both flag rooms, around the tops, and around out in the middle. I've used it lots. Never been reported. All profiles I post are extensively tested. This one no longer gets stuck on anything either.

 

Make the other Bgs now ill test soon, hopefully its better then the default one.

This is a generally good profile. A few problems to note. (Horde)

It will get hung on some of the spikes after rezing. It will path mainly down the middle of the battlefieid when first starting, this means instant death meeting 8 opposing players on the way. It often gets stuck going up the hill heading to the Horde flag room.

 

ack to what mordd said, especially when mounted as a tauren. but it also happens with "smaller" toons
