What language client are you on? Just wondering if there's something unusual with the way these values are set in memory. I can't see any reason for this to happen though, other than oddities with .net, DB install, D3 install, or language...
It's realy strange, im using DB 250 with Giles 1.5.2.1, my D3 client is in english... Before i upgraded both the DB and the script this was not happening. Could it be the buddystats messing with Giles information? I'll go back to Giles 1.5.2 and see what happens.
Yes, if you can try two things; 1: Go back to a previous Trinity version, see if it's the same (let me know - and double-check, try going BACK to the new again, deleting "compiledassemblies" folder in DB each time you change version). 2: Try disabling BuddyStats (actually REMOVE IT from your plugins folder please - don't just disable it!) and see if it fixes it. Now i'm going back to the previous version, but i made a test before that: I put 3 legendaries that was on my stash and started a new run, when Giles sent the message to prowl everything went good, but the odd is that in the same run he got a crossbow and the message was wrong again. Are you using a plugin that keeps things unidentified? This can certainly mess with the name! Failing that, are you starting DemonBuddy while already in-game? Try starting it from the character-select screen, this can help fix some random oddities with item/memory reads.
Just to close the case Giles, i finally got a lengendary drop and the prowl message went fine with the full name of the item. It was the buddystats, i deleted it and now it's working fine.
