[Plugin] ZapRecorder2 - Profile Recorder for GB2

Hello, I tried everything but wont record the mailbox or the repair.. are you sure its not bugged?

 

Bummer! I was actually searching specifically if this could make a grinding profile. It's too good to be true to make a 6 waypoint profile for cathedral of darkness raf farming lol it would have been too easy with the current state of things

 

Or maybe is just gatherbuddy when you press the mail loot now that is not working..cheers, I come back later when Im with full bags

Really nice plug-in, so easy and simple to use and works perfect, good work!.

One thing i'd like to know is that after I have created my profile and start running it in gatherbuddy, if I come across a spot that I need to avoid (like dieing to mobs several times)...how do I go about editing it to remove / blacklist that spot so that he does not collect nodes in that area, and just bypasses it completely?. Or how to blacklist a node.

Edit: Another thing I came across is that when I try and add a repair npc I get the message "[13:32:17] - Cannot add repair merchant as you do not have a target!
" ( I had him targeted and even tried with him open )

First of, YOU ARE AMAZING.

I just now found this plugin, and before I didnt really understand how to tie everything together to make a working profile. I plan on working with this plugin to make most of my stuff now, so thanks very very much for putting it out there.

That being said, I am still very new and have a few questions if anyone has the time to answer with all the MoP grinding going on xD

I made a tiny test loop for my mage - this loop contains a wolf or two, some birds, and some ore/herbs. The problem is, he does not gather the nodes and he only attacks when attacked!

How would I go about making a profile that would hunt the local mobs and gather any nodes detected? Is this possible?

I tried to use the "Test Profile" tab, but it's all greyed out... is it a NIY or am I missing anything?

Yep, but I'd like to easily add single hotspots where needed... ZC2 is good for making the barebones of the profiles, to make them perfect I usually have to manually add some, and it's a mess if you can't move from HS to HS in an easy way.

I'm trying to tweak the profile to move from hotspot to hotspot and not stop until reaching the end of the route. Is this a custom class issue because it fights after each waypoint?

I'm doing the RaF grind in the cathedral of darkness (within icecrown, northrend) if that insight helps ...

--edit: i had unchecked the "kill between hotspots" already. i'm now like 99% sure it's something i'm doing wrong

 

Small build pushed which fixes an issue with blackspots. If you download the one on this thread it'll autoupdate the first time you use it.

More to come, life is crazy.

Correct. Not yet released due to a bug in Honorbuddy which causes Flightor.MoveTo to not behave as expected. It's awesome when it works though! I am trying to get devs to fix or find a workaround.

Question tho,

I map out a profile, been maping out a few areas for low level herb farming, hinterlands, arathi basin etc as prices are astronomical atm on my server so i want to take advantage.

However upon completion of the route, (no problems mapping the route) when i test the route out by loading it into GB2, and starting the bot, the bot follows the route but when approaching certain nodes, it just sits in the air and does nothing.

There is literally no obstacle between the bot and the herb and it sits in the air for 20 seconds and then automatically blacklists the node. What could be causing this? Am i doing something wrong? and i not being refined enough in my pathing or issuing of a hotspot? If so how am i able to make the "directions" more.... direct? lol. Cheers for any assistance.

There has been 2 instances where i start the bot and it just sits there and does nothing on a route that was previously working fine aswell but im assuming thats a bot issue more so then a routing or recording issue.

 

I would say it could be a coordination problem sometimes Zap recorder can record a coordination in the air instead of the ground, Has happened to me a few times. And the random stop could be the CC check them both out.

 

so How do i check out if the coordination is on the ground or in the air? and how would i go about fixing this? sorry still relatively new to writing these things, but hoping to be able to write a few and share them with the community.

 

Is possible to make grinding profile now ?
