Best botting way to 90??

Hey, being out of the game for awhile and fourms, just curious to see what you guys think about botting from 85 to 90, i see a few of you run AV and thats good but can you still level buy farming ore and herbs or even arch buddy? i dont really wanna grind bot as that may flag me and i know that making a 85-90 questing profile will take some time, so yeh just curious how you guys attacked lvling to 90 with HB cheers mansellboi

 

I started by running all available dungeons once manually to complete the dungeon quests. Followed by using a mix or grinding and arch bot. While arch may be painfully slow, it has been pretty consistent as far as going afk is concerned. I use grind bot only while I'm available to check up on the bot every couple of minutes since its a higher risk form of botting. I also manually run the new dungeons once as they become available to complete the quests and hopefully get some better gear. I also do the fishing, jc, cooking, etc... daily everyday since they are quick.

It took me roughly 4 days to go from 85 - 90 using the above methods without botting 24/7. I typically will bot about 14-17 hours per day.

I say, just turn the bot off and play.

 

ive been hearing people just grinding it out, but like other said, leveling though gathering or battlegrounds are also great alternatives.

Are you saying to do bgs or not too if you are horde?

 

I interpreted as "horde lose all the time."

Well I am ally and my BG result looked like...

WG wins 0 losses 11
AB wins 1 losses 6
SOTA wins 1 losses 4
AV wins 4 losses 5

And it looks like that every time for a year, so I disagree that we win more lol


However, I used so far archaeology 1-525 (learned at level 85), grind bot for few hours, ground farming mats while BG's in mixed mode, has taken few days of doing this and am at level 87. It's incredibly slow and there is no "un-risky" way to level, each BG there is a train and bots currently look obvious, grinding and archaeology gives about 10k per kill / 20k per find, farming mats about 10k per farm.
With MoP there really is no easy way apart from an AV call to arms and even then there where 35 bots and 5 real players at one stage.

So I think that in any way you bot to 90 right now is either going to get noticed, or take a month using the least risky way (arch/ground farming mat's).

 

If they are botting, then wouldn't their bots be bad?

 

My personal experience: Horde losses 80% of the time in BG, so, for me, BG is no longer an option. I tried archeology, but it is slow as hell.
As of now, the best way to do it is grinding + ground farming. If you find a place with lots of mobs, good respawn rate, and ores arround, just stick to it. I have leveled 3 toons this way, from 85 to 90 in 3-4 days.

 

Ground grinding and gathering works fine. But change the places sometimes, specialy if you use public profiles. Grinding is really nice, because you will find a lot of Mot of Harmony. They are important to level your professions and to get better recipes.
