18 hours is the highest amount - it was often only 10 hours. I think thats not the reason this time, because others were banned too and were only GB2-botting 4 hours each day :S
What people claim to have botted and what they actually botted are normally two very different things.
I know that dont worry But as you can see all banns happened at the same time so there must be something other reason No gold sold No auctions ever made
Normally what they tend to do is collect up a batch of people to be banned and do them all at once rather than individually as it makes it look like they are doing much more against the botting community than they actually are.
3 of my 6 accounts were created yesterday. So what do you think now? A very shot time of collecting accounts that will got hammered. They were farming yesterday ~3 hours and today ~4 hours The 3 accounts used the ProfessionBuddy profession-leveling-up profile for herb/mining My 3 other accounts were using a private profile for farming in pandaria
What ever happened... How can i get the accounts back? The reason they told me was "abuse of economy" - exactly the wrote "you sold gold or were involved in gold selling" My accounts had: - never auctions up - never made gold through the auction house - just from killing some mobs and like 1-2k gold from Mainchar for reparing and so on - never were involved in gold selling The best way to maybe get them back seems to me just to say: I never sold or bought gold.
Gathering is considered "Abuse of the Economy" as the end point for those resources being gathered results in gold. You can contact support and try to get unbanned, there is a possibility you might get lucky and the ban gets over turned, other than that you have to consider starting again from scratch if you are prepared to carry on botting.
You are not alone here Kel, I have just had 5 accounts banned for "abuse of the economy" tickets already put in, fingers crossed - and rethink required
they dont care and they know better best you can do is appeal, or buy another account and stay damn low
Im thinking about to just call them and ask them what happened and then say them that i never made REAL money from items or somethink like this. How could a ticket look like? Ofc i have to buy new accounts if they stay banned (after some tries to get the unBAMed) but thats not a big problem.
Got 2 account banned too , GB only since i was leveling on other 2 accounts at same time and those was not banned
After a call the guy on the phone told me (ofc AFTER i told him all 6 email adresses ._.) that he cant do anything and i have to write a ticket from each account. So i wrote 6 tickets yesterday in the evening (Hi, my accs were baned and i cant log in anymore) and today i received 6 mails: - 5 accounts all 72 hourse time ban now - 1 account the want CD-Key and ID Card and so on (i dont have the CD-Key anymore, so lost this account) I dont know why the want that for 1 of 6 accounts oO When they are active again all will farm again same amount of time i think - depends on the threa opening rate in this subforum Greetings
If that were the case, even players who gather legitly are abusing the economy. I don't buy that excuse, there has got to be more to it than that. My nephew is 90, doesn't raid at all, just does dailies and farms ore. Probably 4-5 hrs a day after he gets home from school, and has been doing so for the last 2 years. As I said it has to go deeper than that.
they where created yesterday? Are they SoR Accounts? If so thats your problem.... Blizzard are now watching SoR Accounts very closely
Alle 6 accounts are SoR accounts thats the reason why i cant give them a CD-Key for the 1/6 Dont know if i just can say: "sorry i dont have the CD-Key anymore because of moving to a new house" and just send them ID Card copy (all accounts are on my name) What do you think? Is it clever to tell them: "Hey i got 6 accounts and you unbanned 5 of them so why is it needed to send CD-Key and Id-Card copy for the 6th account?"
I would be happy with the 5 72h bans. I received 2 perm bans on my SoR accounts. It was no problem to turn them into a 72h ban. But they want to see my ID and the CD key. To me it looks like they want to get rid of the hardcore gold farmer who very often use these SoR accounts. I think nobody will stay with a perm ban. When you write a short and polite ticket, they will give you 72h. I think they want to hit the SoR abusers. But, hey who knows this is just a guess.
