How come this doesn't do Vault of Assassin? Wouldnt it make sense to?

alucard, check back to page 28, evoxtasy2010 posted a tutorial. I am new as well and followed this to a T (also am using Nosh's updated posted right after). Have been going strong for 2 days now. No ring unfortunately yet, but plenty of others. It will eventually drop.

barblol, Vault of the Assassin is a random map and the bots don't like it. You will get stuck guaranteed so it's avoided. The monsters tend to drop items above 14 I've noticed too (most of my legend drops are i15-16 in the Vault, but it is a good area to look no doubt).

I think the sweet spot is the Oasis. I know it is searching the right area because most of my legend drops are around the i11-i15 area (i14 is what we want). It's a crapshoot though. Some guys found their ring in a few hours...I've probably had my bot hunt for 12-15 hours now...others weeks!

This does work, I know it does. I can smell the precious...it's close.

 

Oh thanks, didn't know random spawn dungeons had been causing problems. Sometimes I even get stuck in one of those sewers, pooptube I think.

(I guess it makes sense. I read the xml code and all this thing was doing was go here, then here, go here. Not a lot of logic, most are move and talk-to commands)

 

Yeah mine occasionally gets stuck in the sewers too. Seems to reset fine so not a deal breaker.

 

Thanks for the awesome profil . manage to get the 30% ring for few hour running . maybe is my luck . anyway some suggestion for TS.

Look like we get more stuck in Sewers of Caldeum . i suggest remove the sewers part . and we just do open area like

Always get stuck when its time to talk to Asheara. Attacking NPC's. Yes the ID's are in the blacklist. What the hell is this joke..

 

Man, lucky indeed! I Let the bot go for about 10 hours last night, no luck! Been trying for a few days to no avail. Ending up buying a ring instead. Want to get some Paragon levels in before 1.0.5 hits so I couldn't wait any longer. I'll send the bot in for another ring hunt now and then in case I find one to sell.

 

I am not sure where I found it, i know it was within 8 hours of running the program and it must have found it when I blacked out from drinking...

 

I adjusted the script to only run the oasis, and I found one just now, 25% ^^

 

any 1 can help on the edit profil so only run

i dont think version 1.4 . we can run form begining utill finish at Oasis . mostly we stuck at sewer and restart the profil . So best we just do open area
like below route . no Quest no Sewer .

Anyone have a Tempest Rush Monk that's STABLE with this? I tried Giles modified still buggy, especially in the sewers

 

I'm having the same problem. Gets stuck on the cart right next to the portal coming in from Hidden Camp, and then gets stuck again in the courtyard trying to fight a guard. Items are in the blacklist as noted in OP.

Any advice?

 

i find out this is the plugin Gilestrinity problem . i disable it . and only use radsProfilemanager + unstuckMe . no more stuck on time to talk to Asheara and art right next to the portal coming in from Hidden Camp etc.

Hey guys,

So after some newbish modification, I altered the scripts to start at act2 quest 8. Make sure when you're going to start your bot thread that you have Normal mode quest 8 selected. The attached file will only run through the following:

Black Canyon Mines
Road To Alcarnis
Stinging Winds
Dahlgur Oasis

and repeat.

This helps avoid bot issues in the sewers that are randomized. Still have 5stacks before oasis. The original profile was great but I think this will increase the amount of runs therefor increase leoric's signet drops. Both the sewers area's do have good leroic's drops but from most my research the oasis is the best and has the highest probability to drop a high percentage ring. Best of luck, hope it helps!

I am still running this on GilesTrinity_v1.4.9.1 as per my long tutorial. I am also using the most current DB release (Demonbuddy 1.0.1049.273). The fact that all the ashera bullshit was removed may make this run okay with the latest Giles but I have yet to test it.
