Same doofus who puts the 322+ herb stack auction up prolly every 6 hrs is the same one whos in the Banhammer section crying HB is detectable lol.

 

If that's the auctioneer addon I guess it could be more than one person posting at the same price but,I doubt it.

Though I gotta agree that Ores/Herbs are over-abundant, so people farm them by boatloads and can't unload fast enough.

Well, there is an increase in the morons that are flooding the AH with herbs/ore, and they will get swept out by Blizz shortly, but it does hurt the rest of us.

However, there are a couple things to remember.

First, the DF ended this weekend, so there was a spike in herb demand that allowed "smart" botters to ride out the morons and still sell their wares. Also means that a fair amount of private buyers reduce their buying (I know some of mine have).
Next, now we have to just play AH games better during the week as those product dumps work themselves out.
Also, it's time to move to the secondary market (i.e. DF cards and such) where we can also capitalize on those idiots by buying up some of their product as well to use in our own secondary market.

Last, it is worth threads like this to try and educate new botters. They will be on here screaming once they don't make what they expected and/or get banned. A lot more money could be made if the botters would form a cartel and keep prices higher longer.

 

same for me, prices have crashed withing 24-48 hours, suddenly i see people posting 1000+ auctions a day on a medium pop server. Prices have gone from a steady 100g/stack for ghost iron to about 55-70g/stack
It makes me wanna punch myself when i see someone post 50-200 auctions of ghost iron undercutting by 20g thinking its all gonna sell fast when people just keep undercutting them and it just gets cheaper and cheaper. I know saying this wont make a difference but people need to learn that undercutting by 1c is enough.

 

30 botters undercutting at practically 1g per undercut = 30g variation from real price to bot price, same thing happened at Cata release and I bitched and moaned and complained on these forums, even called the botters out (not by name but by time and location on my server) to try and work out something for the betterment of both of us and no avail. Just undercut, sell and w/e.. if you want to play the market, buy all their stock and sell it yourself. I have private buyers so my stuff never hits the AH but meh sometimes its a pain to deal with as they basically know you are botting and kinda hold it over you. Hey I just bought 200k worth of stuff, can you throw in 2 stacks of golden lotus for free...... and of course I say man I dont got it and they say, oh figured your "toons" would have it by now since they are always farming. Examples like that are what you usually deal with in private buyers.

Sigh, retards shouldn't be able to bot, in my realm stacks of fool's cap are going for 29g, golden lotus use to be at 230 now is at 100g. people are just too damn stupid.
