When can we bot?

I'm very confused on what's going on, can anyone give me the 'low' down

seen threads saying warding is updating, has it updated now? is it going to?

Is there going to be a new bot release that we can bot on or can we use the same 1.9.2.5 version now, I live in the EU and wanna get botting

Sorry, but it sucks when people come and make these threads when there are 20 threads already that could easily answer these questions for you.

Ill answer anyway.

Yes on US servers, Yes it will on EU once it patches. No, they plan to shut HB down forever and make us all suffer.

 

I read the stuff, but theres lots of different answers, Dayloon says we can bot now and w00tsauce says once it patches we can..

So please dont be a idiot on the forums (especially didn't expect that from a admin) when you dont even realise the message is not clear.

 

I read the same threads as you, message seems clear to me.

The US servers have the new patch therefore it's NOT safe for them to bot. EU servers have not yet got the new patch therefore they CAN still bot.

W00tsauce was responding to your original questions, so there is no contradiction in what the two posters said.

To be fair the whole thread was pointless. It would have taken 2 minutes to find the info yourself.

 

You're welcome Lucozadelol, but actually I agree with Daylon and the rest of the people who were frustrated at your questions. A simple look around would have solved it; the announcement was very clear, instead you called them idiots and made some vague inference that the message wasn't clear:

"This announcement is for US users this week. EU will remain unaffected as they are not patched until next week.

Buddy Products will be offline beginning with the maintenance on 6/22/2010 for updates related to the patch and new security enhancements. Warden is undergoing a major update and GB/HB will be offline for up to several days until we are sure that the new tripwire and security enhancements are safe for all of our customers. "

That does seem clear to me and obviously to the others in this thread but some people have lower comprehension skills, what takes us two minutes to find may take you ten or even twenty. As it is with the internet we can't tell via the written word whether there is some mental abnormality which prevents you from taking in information but that would appear to be the case. So i'm happy to help. Have fun.

 

Sometimes I think part of the problem is the forum list the newest replies to the new window area. I don't think many actually look under the general discussions areas for each category of product, if that makes sense. Also many people just don't care to look for information themselves and just figure posting will yield a quicker response.
