That's the way I think. I currently have 3 accounts, 2 with MoP, the other only has Cata at the moment. With these HB problems I've already lost money or gold, or whatever, so I have to wait until they fix the servers, so I can get back to the game. But when I get these 2 bots running, I'll make money to get a 3rd MoP key. When I get the 3rd MoP key, I will be stuck, because my computer only handles 3 WoW's. Nice.
be sure your computer is not infected with viruses. don't user the same password for everything, i tend to use "tier" passwords: a lvl1 password for dumb registrations, lvl2 password for important stuff, lvl3 password for very important stuff. Get yourself the software called WinAuth, it emulates an authenticator, so you can pretty much add a strong security layer for free.
If that was me I would keep botting and then sell enough to purchase a second barebones machine or upgrades for the existing machine to handle more WoWs. Really you want the ability to run 6 all the time that way you can constantly have 5 farming and one leveling. Personally I would have 5 farming all the time and 1 leveling so ive always got a spare acc. Should no accs get banned id make a 7th acc and level it once max level id just bot it until a ban takes place then hotswap for the account and level another
Yeah, I need a full upgrade, from motherboard to GFX card, and yeah, 5 farming and 1 leveling, since you have to keep an eye always on accounts that will be banned eventually. I never got banned since I've started botting, but I only botted 1 or 2 hours a day, so I don't know if when you sell the gold, all the accounts that were linked to gold making get banned aswell.
hmm, just semi read threw the lot i mainly buy SoR acc's and then lvl it to 85, then i buy mop keys for 65k gold.. and yes, you've got to spend money to make money (most often, its the way i did it..) - and yes, there could be other ways to do it.. aint saying my method is the best.. yes, its better getting a job.. than sitting at home as a hobo in a cave of pizza treys and beer cans.. - no offense to those who does tho ) yes, it does require quite a good pc to run it, thats why you split it up between multiple pcs.. - which costs money, unless you have a few that u never use.. yes, i do run most of the bots 24/7 , and yes.. i do occational get some of them banned, but they always make profit (from the gold that i spent on the acc) besides, you can get 95% of the banned accs back if you start a simple ticket.. and last but not least, i do "not" care about people that don't belive me, its the internet for god sake xD it was made to get young girls from russia.. and blow shit out on the web <- true story of all my accounts, ive actually only lost about 3 :S /good day sir!
Yep. I run pretty much 24/7, but the gold I make on WoW I use for my own purposes, I did used to make a decent income botting and selling Runescape gold. It used to be quite lucrative. The market is there, but you just have to get into it. Best advice is to just never get discouraged, because it's going to absolutely suck until you get a steady stream. Spend a few weeks finding what works well for you, use different servers, and be social. Try and think of things that "look" good on your accounts, so you can always point that out in your tickets. You get what you give.
@eendaen, i used to sell RS gold aswell ;D i ended up giving about 70m away for free, cuz the bot went down :S then i only botted and sold wow gold
Yeah, thats another thing you have to be weary of, bot troubles. I had a lot invested when they killed RS bots, so I took a loss. If something similar ever happens to WoW, you'd be in the same boat, I guess you would be if a banwave hit too.
Well bro gonna be honest with you, you probably could.. But what are u gonna live on that month they ban all your accounts etc? I mean.. Get a job and still run a few accounts.. It's really nice extra cash.. but wouldnt say it's live-able
It fuels my extra curricular activities, but when a ban hits or something of the sort, it hits hard and I lose my income. Think of it as a job that's illegal, and any moment the cops could come and confiscate everything you've worked for and you have to start from square one again. It gets rough.
I really don't see how anyone can bot 24/7 for more than 2 weeks without getting a ban. I ran my toons (7 of them) almost as much as I possibly could (not 24/7 but close) for under 2 weeks and they all got batch suspended for 72 hrs thursday night. Now, if they were batch banned, how can anyone else with this insane amount of play time actually not be included in a "you played too much" auto ban? Maybe it is all about what you are doing for 24 hours a day? Do you mine/herb, quest, ah, all other kinds of shit during the day? I mean I really am curious because I thought I could attempt getting away with 24/7 and I found out, nope, at least for my methods. Thanks.
what is the problem to loose all 3 accounts. thats peanuts. srsly. easy calculation, worst case. your situation right now: 3 bots, 24/7 .... calculate very low, 30k/day. after only 3 days, you got 90k (i bet more with 24/7 botting) 90k= 3 SoR accounts (cata and lvl 80 is enough to earn 10k/day/acc) so blizz could ban all your accounts every 3 days, and you would still be in profit. get a new pc. thats most important! 10 days botting =300k gold (i bet again it'll be more) 300k = at least 180us$ if you sell to cheap china-brookers. (private selling will give you much more) 180$= quadcore pc with 8 gig ram on ebay (that machine should easily be able to handle 5-8 accs) IMPORTANT: dont stick on HB. right now i use another bot i dont think i can give you the name here... do some research for your own.
10k/day with cata from the second you start your bots? Sorry have you actually tested anything you are mentioning? Figures on paper always look nice, but they are hardly ever true. Herbing or mining to 525 is going to take some sort of time. I ran a herber and miner for 6ish hours and he wasn't 525 yet with 280%. 10k/day seems a little high without any professions, what exactly would you be doing? If you are going to sell raw mats on the AH, who the hell wants 5000 Elementium ore or cata herbs right now really? I mean everything you are saying looks great to the eyes of a novice, but I've never seen your great looking figures come to light. Furthermore "calculate very low" as 30k/day with 3 lvl 80 cata bots is complete shit. Please stop getting the novice botters hopes up with bad figures. This is how people start accounts and give up 2 weeks later because they are perma banned and everything is gone. Slow and steady wins the race, unless you maybe have MoP to invest on many accounts who you expect to get banned within 2 weeks for your 24/7 botting. I am sure that is profitable, but you better hope you don't mess up and end up losing hundreds on MoP keys.
of course i tested it. i am doing it right now. 3 chars on 1 server. check your heavy leather, thorium, rugged leather, tin, adamantite prices, and you will be surprised. learn skinning to 300 is about half an hour. 1 stack heavy leather 199g. right spot mobs will drop bear flanks, 1 stack 99g. thick leather, 1 stack 150g. right spot will give you dragon pet, at least 1 per day. so ... yes, i test it daily. what i sell daily on this server: light leather 40 stacks medium leather 60 stacks heavy 60 stacks rugged 60stacks knothide, almost nothing... sells pretty bad pets from farming 2-3 ores: no time to farm ores right now, cos skinning is most profitable
I would just like to know if the WoW gold market is going to shit, and people would just buy gold for 0.5$/k.
