Peoples should chill for a moment, im sure the problems stresses out the developers more than the users, i mean such problem can happen, and the great thing is that the dev is trying to fix the problem, chill abit and play the game on your own, you might enjoy it .. Just my 5 cents .
While your thought is right where it should be, some of us are playing while botting on other accounts. But yes, I am chilling and waiting for it to be fixed. I do however understand people complaining, and I don't believe they are talking trash about our dev team but rather just want to vent out some distress.
I wish they would just make a sort of containment thread where people can vent. It's like posting on the Blizzard forums around here if something goes wrong. Any thread with negativity in it gets nuked. Give people a single place to vent, why not. Like, I saw some guy complaining about how he felt bad for having to use a **** product like HB, but he's been a user for like a year! Obviously the product can't be that bad if you use it for so long. I've always felt HB was good enough to be patient with. But sometimes people get grouchy, they should be allowed to voice that rage. It's not like someone's gonna see their post and go, "Hey yeah, he's right, I'm tired of using this product too! I'm gonna go legitimately play 20 hours a day now!"
Look at the thread in the release section. It is pretty much what you are looking for. People venting, as long as they don't take complete bullshit, they can talk as much as they want.
we're just fine with people venting, but when you start to call each other names or insulting one another thats when we have to step in and put a stop to it, most of the time its just locking the thread.
I wasn't botting last expansion, so I don't know anything about it. But did it have this big an impact on service? It's alright saying 'chill, it will get fixed' ... But it's now been pretty much down for 3 days. Before that it's been up and down like a yoyo since MoP was released. Wouldn't mind so much if it was a free service, but since I'm a paying customer I'm entitled to some uptime and use out of a product I've paid for surely. Not being a twat, just as Codename said, venting.
After having checked the release forum, I see that there was a short window last night where things were going fine. Must have just been lucky to start using it when everything was working. >.< Also, didn't know the release forum existed, really. I stick mostly to this area.
