      [Fixed, resolution below] Authentication Error!

      Honorbuddy v2.5.6427.501 started.
      Logging in...
      Authentication Failed!
      (goes on same stuff)

Basically, this stopped working after MoP came out (I stopped botting for a while, I've had HonorBuddy for a while, and I use the traditional username - password (tried on a different computer, and it worked). I can't use that computer because it is my friends, not mine, I went into BuddyAuth and had no sessions open, its lifetime, it seems to be just the computer. I've redownloaded Honorbuddy many times and deleted the appdata folder, meshes folder, etc. etc. etc. I even tried using the working Honorbuddy (the one at a friends house) and brought it back to try it on my comp, didn't work. Really need to start botting because this program makes life so much easier... Any help is appreciated.

      Thanks,
      sweking.

C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc, in that folder you'll find a file called "hosts" (no extension). Open it with a text editor. Check online for what the default contents would be.

also add an exception on your firewall for Hb

Thank you so much! I made an error forwarding the port, and closing it instead. You've made my life much easier! Thanks again!

If you tried forwarding the port, make sure you didnt filter it instead.
I helped a user before who did just that, and that blocked HB from authing.

With this new Honorbuddy update (2.5.6482.510) I got the Authentication Error! again, if anyone else is having this issue google how to port forward and forward the 5031 port, it should resolve any issues.
