For forwarding ports on your router, you will have to google how to do so, since it is different for each type of router.
On your antivirus, there should be a whitelist where you can add the HB folder.

sorry to "hijack" a thread but my HB keeps giving an auth erro (session invalid) every 2-4 hours, cant leave my bot running at night or when i am at work because i know he is gonna stop eventually

using only windows defender, disabled windows firewall nothing that stops or blocks ports that i know of, is there something i can do?

This is an issue with the bot. Tony please stop telling people wrong info and adding stuff to their firewall and antivirus, I run neither and have the issue at least 15 times a day.

this is very annoying, i cant leave bot overnight or while i am at work because he always disconnect, it does not seen to be my internet because all my other program running dont stop, added exception on firewall, turn off firewall

not using any third party firewall or anti-virus just regular windows stuff

I agree. There's nothing blocking our connection to the auth servers. Ever since the 501 update on honorbuddy, it has been struggling. :(
We need a quick hotfix at least.

I keep trying to point out that there is nothing wrong on our end.
I think there is something on your computers that causes a momentary connection loss.

i only using windows defender and a turn off firewall, is only happening with HB is pretty specifc, sure that is something on our side? how can we test it?

i want to solve this, the bot only runs for 2hours tops when i leave him unnatended, i have to keep checking every 20 min at work to click to login again

As Rogerio asked, is there any way to test this? I've opened my ports, made exceptions and I've followed every single guide on how to solve this, on this forum posted by someone on a high rank or a guide from a sticky post. But the results are the same, nothing is changed. How can we test this furthermore?

Force your computer to do a selective boot.
Google how to do it through msconfig.

Make your computer only boot with the bare necessities.
