unfortunately you won't get back your money, because it states in paypal, you can't sell virtual items, and he is probably going to put that in his statement. there are 3 options if you are going to do a trade again. either 1. include in the trade a real item to be shipped, so that there is proof of shipment, and purchase, or 2. tell the buyer to wait 60 days before he gets the account info XD. 3. or tell him to sign papers, and send a photo id. Good luck!
This is the way to do it. If you send a physical item they cannot charge especially if you have postage proof etc of sending it. Don't bother doing any deals with people if they don't want to give you their full name, location, and do a phone verification. That's how I deal with it.
I had someone dispute me once about a month ago.. I even gave paypal the tracking # and everything.. I had an email from the guy saying it worked and thanks through Ebay (which they own).. Somehow they still gave him his $80 back.. I was like what in the fuck.
adding another post to confirm that paypal WILL NOT take money out of your bank account if you lose a dispute.. they absolutely will not. You will have a negative balance.. and you wont be able to remove your cc or bank account info. But, you can just open a new paypal account and continue as normal.. its a bit of a hassle but thats how it works.
