This guy was advertising to sell game cards in trade chat.

I asked him his price and he said 35k for 6 months. I said I'll do 25k. he said ok and that he'll let me try out the card before I even pay him.

      Is this legit?

Just wanted to check with you guys before I pay him as I know i can trust you! :)

      Thanks

Oh yeah, I asked him to speak on skype and he said he forgot his skype password. He's also very pushy about me trying his game card code, he has no hesitation in giving me the code, even when i didn't agree to it.

Chinese sell 2 months game card for 35-45k. You do the math :)

Just don't get fooled by 1-month time codes, similar to unfreeze codes, which are removed within hours.

So he gave me the code and it's 180 days. It worked fine.

He said he got the codes from ebay and is now talking to me on skype.

1 code for 180 days of gt must have been bought with a credit card, so, very little.

No, it just means the game time you purchased with in-game gold will be removed.

I bought 2 months of game time through in-game gold and it the game time was removed within a few hours. =/

Lol you guys are funny. You ask if you are being scammed. You are told yes, you know its a scam. You do the transaction anyways and now you are all concerned. I hope you get banned for being stupid.

It is pretty obvious its a stolen credit card and Blizzard is going to shut down your account until you reconcile the game time difference. Unless they ban you for the gold transaction first. Either way you are best to stop while you are ahead and sit low and see how it goes.

You guys still go and buy the game time with gold, you get nailed every time and still keep doing it. It really just amazes me how silly people are.

I am a very friendly guy, helpful and I go out of my way to help. But I do call stupid when I see it, and this is one of those times. Learn from this and don't be silly next time.

I COULDNT agree more with Swizzie on this one. We say its a scam and you do it anyways. A very clear no brainer. Expect some snarky comments.

I have never bought a time card before in my life. That was my first time and my last.

Could i put a ticket into a GM saying I invited someone to my guild and he stole all my gold?

As predicted, the game time has vanished from my accounts.

Oh well, we learn from our mistakes I guess.

Sell some gold, deposit it in you bank account and go get some time cards at walmart. I used to buy time cards from Lisa @ gold2sell.org . I am pretty sure it was. I did get banned for the gold trade once thought but never had a issue with the cards.
just add gold2sell.org to msn and they will add you.

you don't want to poke the hornets nest on this one. Be glad they didn't investigate and ban you for the gold transaction too.
