I was thinking of purchasing some dozens of keys, but i was wondering if questbot is finally afkable like the pre mop honorbuddy? Or is it still trash? Bcoz i cba to lvl 30+ accounts.
Its not pure afkable no. Use it on 6 different toons off and on and none of them are afkable either get stuck or need quest help. Can sometimes get through an hour or so of questing but thats about all I have been able to get so far since pre mop
I join sifer for the asking. Because, i level with honorbuddy for more than 1years now, i've tryed a lot of different thing, but i never can away more than 4 or 5 hour without watching and debugging my bot.. Interresting to know how u do.
The questing bot is the most broken tbh. It constantly gets stuck on accepting quests, handing in quests or using the flightpath.
The questbot itself is perfectly fine. There are, however, still quests in Pandaria that lack QuestBehaviors or profiles. So don't expect to level 85-90 without some interaction. 1-80 should be perfectly fine though.
Most of pre MoP profiles are broken because of Quest behaviour. I'm having a lot of pain to lvl up a toon questing, it was so easy before MoP. I've tried Kick, Botanists and some other profiles on the forum. None of them works fully AFK (which isn't a problem, but having to look out my bot every 30 min is just to much). And yes, I've tried using 507 and 513 builds, over a fresh install with no additional plugins enabled. Always endup with a bot crash, or bot on a loop trying to turn in or pick up a quest, or just standing with typical "can't generate path" message. Questing was so good, but now seems so broken for me. I'm really desperate I hope one magical build will come up and fix it
MoP questing is a pain actually. It always tries to attack dead mobs. ;-) You have to babysit it, otherwise you wont come far.
I am glad some of you have gotten Questing to work. As for me, the most I have gotten it to do is a few quest before getting stuck, bugging out or just stopping and standing there.
It is far from AFKable. Low level questing leaves the characters stuttering. There are flight path update bugs with the bot not releasing the flight path window and proceeding. From time to time the bot will not recognise targets and run around aimlessly getting itself killed, this normally occurs after some form of phasing. Oh and sometimes it refuses to mount up. Then of course we have problems with the public profiles, not that I worry about those as I am running my own which is slightly better.
You can use the quest bot to knock out huge chunks of levels. There are certain quests that it will bug on and you have to complete them manually however. The Fly-R update bug will cause a slow down for sure, but it will afk and d/c and if you use a relogger it will pick up np after it starts again. I've personally leveled quite a few characters with it in the past few weeks.
So HB 513 with latest SVN kick's profiles and HB relog? Did you modify any HB settings? (loot, monster distance, loot radius, drink, native flying, etc..?) Which plugins are you using with quest bot.
used native flying on druid, it just won't fly without it. Plugins, anti-drown, buddy-con, autoequip, azenius (it is still a must for certain quests to work in BC), decline all thats about it. Default settings for the most part. There are quite a few quests that will not work on the way up but just monitor it once to figure out which they are and then help the next character out when it gets to that point. Very dangerous to do this without xp bonuses from guild/heirlooms/etc. though as the quest bot still grinds a ton in certain spots if it doesn't reach a certain level. Not saying it's 100% afk'able or foolproof, but with some knowledge and planning I would say 85% which still saves a ton of work. And mind you this is not commenting on MoP stuff, I haven't even attempted that yet.
