long story short, dont buy dozens of keys. Unless u r a gold seller all u want to do is to complete all rep dailies and level some alts without being have to quest manually. All the thing bot can do is to gather mats atm. (I dont care if GB works , I m not a gold seller). Grinding profiles are also useless without a tanking spec or great CC which uses survival skills. I m not happy with honor buddy anymore at all.....
I have successfully leveled 8 characters to 90 with honorbuddy, with 4 of them starting at level 1. While not 100% afkable in later zones, the questing bot does quite well. Mixed with plugins that log out out if stuck, targeted or whispered, I don't see what issue you could have with just the questing portion of the bot. If your goal is to simply level a large amount of characters, I'd say you would need a small amount of monitoring as nothing is perfect and there are chances you will get stuck.
I have to agree on with caesar. Bg buddy is a joke but ive heard... its being fixed. Questing is far from afkable, no matter who made the profiles, even kicks ones, no offense, dont work half of the time. Other then gathering, theres no point atm in having more then one key tbh. I only use hb now with lazyraider, when i find a nice cc. Half are not doing what they are supposed to do but i take em as they are. Looking at the fact that there are developers who are already asking donations for a ++ access to they're cc... it shows where this bot is going atm. And for the line above, yes you may be compensated for your work, but no, we shouldnt be doing that. Bossman should. This bot is useless without some decent cc's and giving a reply on this like " you have singular that comes with it "is just not gonna cut it tbh. I lvld the chars in my sig, all botted. But i would lie if not every single one of em gave me quite some headaches from time to time getting all together again.
I Botted 2 Chars in the past week, One from 1-90 and the Second One from 1-80 (Still Questing) There are some cases where you need to watch the bot, for example in Felwood at the Firewall, where the bot can't go past it and i just manually climb over it. Then at Level 73 in Dragonblight there is a House where you stuck at when Questing At 77-78 at the Sholazar where you sometimes need to manually summon the QuestGiver and some Quest above 82 to 90, where you really have to Babysit it quite alot. And some Randomstucks i don't really remember since they dont occur often. Its far from 100% AFK-Able, but when you know where the stucks often occur, you can calculate it pretty easy, and know when it might get stuck Just my 2 cents. Second: Maybe a little more Details?
It used to be good, now it sucks. Gets stuck constantly from 12-58 even tho it used to be fully afk'able. Constantly stops at flight points or at quest givers.
Going from 85-90 for ally using Cava's profiles works pretty good for me. 7 toons at 90, 3 at 88-89. Aside from the coded in sections where it prompts for interaction it has been solid. Far from 100% afk, but 95% easier than doing it by hand. It does get easier too, I know now when it is coming up to a quest which it doesn't have a behaviour for, and also when I am going to get a run of a few hours. I don't experience the "bot is broken" type bugs that many complain of. Perhaps my expectations are lower? YMMV It certainly is not ready for afk'ing 30 accounts though, Jesus I think I'd be pulling my hair out at that!
To the op: Short answer: you can't afk quest, in my humble experience. Thats it. Gathering and CC are really cool stuff and work as intended. If you intend to buy it to level and expect it to work right now, you can search the forum and see what kind of answers you will get. This is treated like a social experience. I like it and already bought a second key. Your choice.
Tried quest boting (kicks profiles from 80), didnt work for more then 5-6 quests then bot started doing nothing, just standing at the fire place in hyjal.
Any date when this will be fixed? Ive been a loyal customer of the buddy team, even tho the competition offers 89 or so dollars for unlimited sessions. Id rather spend my money here:s
Make sure you copy Kickazz plugins in his svn to your plugins folder and use singular, CLU and other CC are acting weird when questing most of the time. Singular on Beta build is working great for me on my monk barely helped him (mostly had due to ganking), the only major issue I have is if you stop the bot Kickazz quests compilation don't always work so I have to delete in the xml until the part I'm at.
im getting stuck on bot missing behaviour every now and then, sometimes it runs a few quests fine and then it stops . so its not afk, im running specific dungs afk tho.
Can't ever reliable let it run more than 1-2 hours due to HB related issues it seems past 60. 1-60 though is generally pretty smooth sailing.

i personally just got the 1000 quest complete achievement all using kicks 0-81 so far. yes there are times hes doing stupid shit. But report that stuff to kick and hell jump on it like a liger feasting on gazelles.
I've been having good luck with it, but Questing Bot was never ever 100% afk. You will probably always have to do one weird quest for the bot here and there, but it's my preferred way of leveling anyway.
Tbh, only issue I have, while questing 85-90, using kick's profiles, was navigation problems, like trying to go in a straight line to whatever location, and getting stuck on a side of a mountain, or building
I would be really interested on what you were using, profiles & class & CC, that let you run for 18 hours straight questing. Not doubting you, maybe you were using Alliance profiles, since i am Horde. Kick has and still is doing an amazing job with Horde and most of the stucks etc. are due to HB issues, not profiles. Or it might be the CC i am using that likes to target other players pet, wild imps in particular, but i use singular for leveling and again i think that's more of an HB issue. Though Singular could detect what it's targeting and clear/blacklist it i am sure. I would say on a good day i get maybe 5-6 hours of questing without any player interaction at all on my part. With the odd interaction on my part i can go the whole day no problem. So yeah, i would say 1-90 is about 90% AFKable as it stands atm. Using release versions aswell as the latest Betas when they pop.
the only time I have ever had a problem with navigation/environment stuck issues was when leveling large races. Small races have far less problems FYI. Don't bot pandas either, they are extremely wide even though they are short and seem to have movement problems with HB atm.
i personally can't seem to do any questing, loads of times it will kill a mob, then just stand there trying to target the same dead mob. even tries to target other factions pets..
