WoW Crash Upon Interaction With Vendor (when using HB)

Not sure why the bot is even interacting with the vendor as I have sufficient food (8+ stacks) and absolutely no junk, literally only the WoW 8th Anniversary item and a Hearthstone. Attached crash log.

 

Have tried increasing the virtual memory paging default + setting default for the maxcameradistance factor as I had adjusted it, error still occurs.

The action it performs is that it interacts with the vendor, the window comes up, there is a slight pause and then WoW crashes. Happens constantly while running [A - Quest] 85-86 The Jade Forest [Kick].xml. First time I've received this error.

EDIT: Reviewing crash log, WoW reported it tried to access 3.632GB of memory - cause of the problem. No idea how to fix this however.

 

Getting same error, just with Horde profile. Please fix.

Please let me know if anyone manages to solve, nothing I've done so far has fixed this, including disabling AutoEquip etc..

Right- well i have a really good rig and I'm not evebn playing it on ultra and this is happening. It just goes to 'not responding' .

 

thats not wow, because i play normally when don't open bot and when i open bot that happens, a fatal error.

 

So there's nothing I can currently do about this?

 

Confirmed that 517 does not fix issue and that changing CC does not fix issue.

 

It seems this indeed is a problem with HB.

I tried running multiple questing profiles.
All make wow crash as soon as the bot makes my character interact with a vendor.
I stopped honorbuddy, talked to a vendor multiple times without problem, started HB, HB talks to vendor and then wow crashes.

I tried it with all addons disabled, multiple CC's, 515,516,517, lowest setting etc.
I have over 16 gig's of RAM available on my machine.

Gerardless the fact this happens only with HB on means it's a HB error.

Any idea if this is picked up by the HB team?

again, its a wow issue not a honorbuddy issue. unfortunately blizzard isnt perfect and when they do big patches like these issues like that can happen leaving us to work around them. so we will see what we can do, but im not sure how much thats going to be.

 

I understand that with every new release of wow (be it patch or expension) it brings out new challenges for the HB team.
I fail to see how this can be a wow-only issue as the game runs fine without honorbuddy and will crash on vendor interact with honorbuddy.

I reinstalled both HB and WoW with an absolute clean install and it still only happens on HB use.

On the offical forums there is also no mention of wow crashing when interacting with a vendor. On these forums there are multiple. Please do not think i want you to fix this now! You will probably have bigger fish to fry ^_^. I was merely trying to point something out to the developers.

 

it might not of crashed for you, but others are reporting the same issues who don't use honorbuddy, that's how we know its a wow issue. apoc said himself that it is a wow issue, not an honorbuddy one.

Yes but if you can interact with "onlywow" and not with "wow+HB" there is something strange....
Did you know if with the new patch HB has problem with FOOD?
I have bags full of food but HB tell that I have not food, so my pg wait till the life is full again everytime ...

 

Understood therefore that the devs are very limited as to what they are able to do and thank you for whatever attempts you have made/are making in order to solve this.

Could it perhaps be solved if we stop HB from buying, and only sell, to vendors without the need to gain information of the items the vendor has on offer?
