      @Bobby53 --
Awesome to see you overseeing the Singular development type stuff, if that's what you're doing now. ShamWoW is amazing, and if you work this up, Singular will be too.

Now, on to what I was initially writing this post for. Would it be possible, since I'm color blind, to maybe do something like [T] Tested and working, Untested, etc? Something like that? I only ask, because when I read the working classes section, they all look black and grey to me. Bad vision, along with being color blind, it makes using colors very difficult for picking out what works and what doesn't. Just a request bobby, so please don't feel obligated to do anything that will cause you more work.

Thanks in advance, and it would be most appreciated.

I'm not sure if you're actually serious with this "doesnt match the results of MY testing"... I assure you BM hunter tries to cast Dire beast, Stampede etc on himself instead of target, gets stuck spamming that, and dies. 5 sec of "testing" shows that. I'll attach a log with mobs and with a few sec on target dummy.

It's was a polite response to a member that posted this issue:
as the first post following this post from me to all users:
I am happy to look into any issue, just provide the details described as needed and it will be quicker for everyone next time. Issue with Stampede and Dire Beast will be fixed in next release. Thanks for the log files and good luck with your Hunter, -Bobby53

Why is there no SVN like the old one? Makes it easier for us to be up2date ^^

      Hi, MaxMuster,

Bobby53 is the master. Don't mess with him--he always has super solid reasons for doing things the way he does.

My guess is that he uses SVN to check in his work progress from time to time so it won't get lost. This means the SVN is not always in a buildable or 'bug free for users' form. Its just easier to snapshot the 'known good copy' and release it, rather than trying to track which SVN numbers are 'releases', and which SVN numbers are 'work progress'. Alas, SVN doesn't have a clean method of labeling a branch as 'release'. Even if it did, it would be too complicated to ask the average (non-programming) user to understand.

To be honest, I'd rather the development process make his life easier rather than ours. By doing so, we get more goodies faster. :D

      cheers,
      chinajade

Before MoP, Singular had a SVN and it works Perfect all the Time.

He can make a SVN, where he can publish the Version he publish here as .ZIP archiv.

And the version they comes with HB are buggy all the time, so it makes no difference ^^

      What Class+Spec are you?: all
What 'context' is the bot in? (Instance, BG, Normal): any combat
What level are you?: any level
Have you made any modifications to Singular?: no
What time (HH:MM:SS) or LogMark did your issue occur? Singular DEBUG events
      What happened (be specific)?

      Hi, Bobby53,
This is a report based on another user's concerns about releasing personal information into the log. His original post is "http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...-contain-personal-information.html#post903695".

      Specifically,
His point #2 (illustrated by his first example) is of Singular releasing personal information into the log. To wit,
[03:58:25.200 D] [LuaEvents] Getting argument values for event COMBAT_LOG_EVENT_UNFILTERED
[03:58:25.206 D] [Singular-DEBUG] [CombatLog] Anonymous:72057594123629718 cast of Earth Shock#8042 failed: 'Not yet recovered'
[03:58:25.206 D] [LuaEvents] Getting argument values for event COMBAT_LOG_EVENT_UNFILTERED
      [03:58:25.207 D] [Singular-DEBUG] [CombatLog] Anonymous:72057594123629718 cast of Stormstrike#17364 failed: 'Not yet recovered'
[03:58:25.207 D] [LuaEvents] Getting argument values for event COMBAT_LOG_EVENT_UNFILTERED

Would you put this on your 'to do' list to give it a look? In Buddywing's WingIt, we had to deal with a similar problem. This was handled by the WingIt LoggableIdentifier() extension method that produced output that looked like this for player characters:
      [00:28:25.321 N] [WingIt, DEBUG] 'Sorcerer(X*******, Lvl45)' needs heal, Health:52.57673%, IsMoving:False

LoggableIdentifier() just used the unmasked name for NPCs.

Did you attach a complete debug log? (choose one: YES or YES)

You may choose another solution, but many (including me) are paranoid about 'personal' information leaks.

      Thanks again for the consideration!

nobody89, Thanks for the post, but if you have a problem you would like me to research you will have to see Post #4 [CLICK HERE] in this thread for details on posting requests for support. I am currently looking into the facing issue so you are in luck on that one as I encountered it. The Guardian issues however I have not so will need the info described in the post linked above. Thanks for the post and good luck with your Druid, Bobby53

MaxMuster, Thanks for the post. A few quick points:

      - The latest patch caused several key issues which impacted Singular due to changes in offsets. This has been addressed in the most recent releases (you'll need to download the .ZIP at the moment.)

      - Singular overall should be getting more stable and more feature complete each release, although it may not feel like it if the class most important to you has a new bug introduced.

      - A lot of work has been done on Singular, but a lot of work remains. Unfortunately the majority of the user feedback has not been actionable (vague descriptions, no log file, or a log file with no point of reference for when an issue occurred, etc.) I end up begging for log files in 3 out of 4 posts

      - The distribution method for Singular has changed beginning with MoP and will only be available via HonorBuddy distributions. Due to the amount of change and the need to get fixes to users more frequently than releases of HonorBuddy will need to be pushed, it is additionally being distributed via .ZIP on a temporary basis. Please do not need post extolling the virtues of SVN's, I'm very familiar with them. I didn't make the decision, I am only relaying it to you.

      - This thread is reserved for Singular support issue posts. For general discussion (including all versions of cake or pie debates) please post in HonorBuddy Support Issues or another thread

Thanks again for your post, -Bobby53

What Class+Spec are you?: ----Elemental Shaman
What 'context' is the bot in? (Instance, BG, Normal): ----Questing.
      What level are you?: ----73
Have you made any modifications to Singular?: ----none. Downloaded a fresh install of latest HB released today, and deleted the singular folder and extracted the one on the first page.
What time (HH:MM:SS) or LogMark did your issue occur? -----Entire log really. Around 05:40 and thereabout.
What happened (be specific)?----- It doesn't attack mobs. It targets fine, but doesn't defend itself.
Did you attach a complete debug log? (choose one: YES or YES) ----Yes

Ohh i see, havent tried any bosses yet, only killing stuff for gui lai keys and dread ambers.
Can i enable it for anytime i'm in combat instead of just boss ?

How about it taunting/attacking nearby mobs to speed up killing, often when im in range of several mobs it just keeps attacking the current target, sometimes i lose the tag but generally just going a lot slower :( (have pull range set to 85...)

Otherwise i enjoy singular alot :)

tomten, Currently you cannot enable those abilities for non-boss encounters or configure for multi-mob pulling. I'll look to add both features in an upcoming release, but there are a few items (primarily support for other classes) that needs to be completed first. As for the pull range, it controls how far away a mob can be for you to go out of your way to attack it when you are not in combat. It won't affect what is happening when you are already in combat. Thanks for the post and good luck with your Warrior, Bobby53

What Class+Spec are you?: Druid, Balance
What 'context' is the bot in? (Instance, BG, Normal): LazyRaider while questing :)
      What level are you?: 81
Have you made any modifications to Singular?: No
What time (HH:MM:SS) or LogMark did your issue occur? 14:15:00 and forward
What happened (be specific)? After each mob and hp is under 100% it goes out from boomkin and casts Healing Touch, quite annoying when you are at 95% hp and he wants to heal himself to 100% :p

Did you attach a complete debug log? (choose one: YES or YES) Yes View attachment 5604 2012-11-29 15.10.txt

      Hope this helps :)

Edit: Nvm! Decreased the "Ignore Targets Health" and it stopped :)

*NEW* Singular 3.0.0.1271 available for download!

See Post #4 [CLICK HERE] in this thread for details on posting issues, questions, and requests for support.

To be sure you saw this, you must attach a complete debug log with any post. Please see the above link for details.

Visit the first post in this thread to download. The prior version is still available there as well in the event you feel the need to downgrade at any time. Note: due to changes in WOW 5.1 Hunters and Monks may not be able to downgrade.

Worth mentioning one more time due to the large number of posts without log files that are received, but you must attach a complete debug log with any post. Please see the above link for details.

I have this issue that my hunter does not attack anything, it just stands and select target, and wait. It doesn't cast spells if I engage either. I have triede to reload HB and Reload the profil and everything.
