[HELP] On Trial - Setup Complete - Questions So i've bought the trial in plans to try it out obviously. I think I got everything to setup correctly according to sneakys tutorial ( which helped allot ). My only question is, do I need to be in a certain place to start the bot? Or Can i just start it wherever? Also, Do i need anything in game to be set to a certain way. I'm lvl 10 warrior/juggernaut. Any feedback would be great! ------------------ Started a new character and it worked. I'm guessing I did have to be in a certain position on a certain quest to start ?... Also i have another question, I have a pretty decent computer 8gb ram ddr3, (2) hd 6850 crossfire and a amd fx 4100 . I also have 50mb download and about 10 upload but for some reason the game lags horrifically while using the bot. Is there something I can do or is this just what happens? --------------- I read on another post someone was also having this "lag" issue. The reply was to delete the openlockbox folder and to try it out and to let them know if it helped. So I deleted that folder and it's still lagging bad. Of course I put a copy of it in another folder so don't worry. I'm going to attach a log to this thread and hopefully I can get an answer and sub to the monthly option, as I am only on trial at the moment testing this out. Republic Flesh Raider Scout Lvl 2 Quest - attack of the flesh raiders - working but w/ huge lag spikes 2 seconds good, 5 seconds pause etc. --------------------------------------- So, I've managed to not get lag by: camera distance 100% and zooming out all the way windowed graphics preset - very low runny buddywing as administrator --------------------------------------------------------- The only problem I'm having now is that it's taking awhile to go from one kill to another. -------------------------------------- Thanks guys!
you need to watch for errors and restart the bot. Delete the CompiledAssemblies folder when it's buggy and sometimes a restart of swtor with a fresh extract of the zip. I also suggest using one of joe's combat routines since it has some error handling. Also some areas tend to cause errors on the bot; it appears that some npcs crash the targeting pulse and when on a quest where you interact with an item, reference errors appear to happen when scanning some items... It's buggy but isn't that why it's on sale? btw, if the lag you mentioned is from frame rate pausing, it's from frame lock so the game data doesn't change when the bot is in the middle of it's logic loop
