Hi! I've been trying to start my HonorBuddy, but all it says is: "Honorbuddy v2.5.6597.518 started. Logging in... ------------------------------- You have not selected a valid instance of WoW to attach to! Please restart Honorbuddy and choose a valid instance of WoW to use Honorbuddy with! This version of Honorbuddy only supports WoW Build #16309 You are currently on build #0 -------------------------------" And it doesn't work on any WoW-instance that I open, I've tried to open "Wow" and "Wow-64" but the program says the exact same thing. What am I doing wrong?
Did you download, and install all the Requirements? Download Microsoft .NET Framework 4 (Web Installer) from Official Microsoft Download Center Download Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) from Official Microsoft Download Center wow 32 bit window mode. try direct x 9 and or 11. also make sure your logged in, and logged onto a character in game before you start honorbuddy. sometimes helps to run honorbuddy as admin. now you should be good to go.
Hi Drafter, You have to be logged in on the toon you're going to play before you launch Honorbuddy. More help here: http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...5-quick-hb-guide-presentation-fast-setup.html cheers, chinajade
I fixed the Game Preferences that were in the tutorial you linked but still it says: Honorbuddy v2.5.6597.518 started. Logging in... ------------------------------- You have not selected a valid instance of WoW to attach to! Please restart Honorbuddy and choose a valid instance of WoW to use Honorbuddy with! This version of Honorbuddy only supports WoW Build #16309 You are currently on build #0 ------------------------------- And yes, I started it with 32-bit Client enabled, and I tried both DirectX 9 and 11 but neither worked and I used Windows mode ( with and withoutFullscreen). It still won't work! Could it be the Microsoft Visual C++ 2010 Redistributable Package (x86) that does it? When I try to install it it says that I have a newer version of the program, but could that be the problem? I'm not sure but I don't think so.
I'm currently having this issue as well. Only have a 32 bit client up, I've run the program before, but suddenly it just stopped working, and I'm not sure why.
How did you fix it? I'm having the same problem. EDIT: Yes, I am already logged in when I start Honorbuddy. Yes I ran both as admin. Yes I have it in windows mode.Yes I installed .Net framework. I didn't install the C++ because it said I already have a new version installed. Exact text: Logging in... ------------------------------- You have not selected a valid instance of WoW to attach to!
