So the wait is over... In local news there was a line of people that got robbed at gun point. They made off with over a grand. Not sure if they got caught. My sister got my copy for my birthday and all I can say is COOL. The game isnt what I expected but thats a good thing. I have only made it through 3 missions thus far and im playing it on the most difficult setting. Blizzard did right with this one. Out of curiosity I was in WoW in Stormwind and it was a ghost town. The few people that were on were waiting till their store opened to get their copy. My wifes guild canceled raiding for the entire week expecting people to sit 24/7 at their computer for SC2. I only played one 1v1 and I got my ass handed to me. But thats ok it was all in good fun. Never the less, Blizzard impresses me once again.
I am buying it today, after lunch here. Been playing beta for some months, so I know the game is very good. Cant wait to try single player as well.
Single player exceeded my expectations by far. Played multiplayer long enough to get my placement matched out of the way, gold league, which i think is just about average. Hopefully i'll be able to work my way up over the next few days.
I'm downloading it atm, 98 % 12 min left, hoping for a diamond league tournament in the weekend, 42 " tv and 900? to the winner
Is it worth ?45? If so I might buy it now and download it ready for when I get home. I've never played the original nor have I seen any trailers or anything so any advice is appreciated.
What sort of RTS are we talking about? Is it a futuristic age of empires type game? Is it start a game, win/lose then reset? Or do you progress with upgrades etc? Speaking of upgrades in the sense that gear and achievements in wow are. Can you buy/sell shit? Do you create an "Empire" that stands for others to attack or visit or whatever?
I'm on work travel for the next 3 weeks so I won't be able to get it until I get back Trying to find the guide so at least I can read about it
Ohh a good time for wow botting since most are playing SC2 =] i never seen anything about it realy like sidalol is it worth it?
I'm downloading it now just to check it out. I liked SC1, but I was never really into it like a lot of people were. 7 hours left on download now.. Stupid 300kb/sec.
You will like StarCraft 2 then.. Its awesome! On a different topic, anyone know where i can get a map hack??? LOL Hate playing in the dark...
I've played SC1 since it came out in 1997, and I loved it since then. It is the most best game you could ever play, too bad the graphics was the best back then but now is considered "horrid" now. In SC2, all units is much more bulky and moves more awkwardly which makes it too realistic. Though they're using HAVOK game engine this time, which is an improvement from WC3 engine that simulates real-time gravity. It seems that this game is designed more to be an eye candy than a pure RTS game, but I still love it! You know why... I played the beta and I loved it! Though there is few things that still needs to be improved but hey when SC1 came out it was horrible and imbalanced but of today SC1 is the best balanced RTS game as of now. So I'm hoping SC2 will become a true champion after few years of fine tuning, that if Blizzard team do not manage to mess the game up with another expansion. Lets go to the point..... BUY SC1 AND SC2, you won't regret it!
