Player report

I bot on a high pop. server and still make money. If you aren't making anything then it's because of you...no reason to report other botters just because you aren't smart enough to use botting wisely. I've never once reported another botter and never will.

I have had someone send me a tell and he said he wanted 10k gold or he would report me for botting so I reported him for blackmail instead. I'm still using the same account and have never had a major ban. I did get a 72hr suspension but it was for telling someone they should have been aborted. Oops. Anyway, I personally think if someone does that to you and you do nothing it may flag your account, or they may watch you...but if you report them as well then it just looks like maybe the person just wanted free gold and figured harassing someone was the way to do it.

are u stupid or something do u think all this ppl even pay for HB? u can get it for free rofl with an Auth sever and a hack funny shit but here is the thing he will get bane alot of ppl are going to get bane soon i got 7 acc bane 2 weeks ago iv not said 1 thing on here why cry about it and yes i report botters cause they report me how do u think ppl get bane form normal ppl reporting u prob not normal ppl dont mine and herb 24/7 lol its cause of botters on same path as u soon as blizz comes out with this new thing to find botters going to be real hard to keep up 70 dollar acc and still make IRL money

I'll be completely honest some people have pushed me to the brink of breaking my self inflicted never report other botters rule... I haven't broken the rule yet except where they whisper me reported as they happily went on botting themselves for hours upon hours. They don't really leave you a choice do they?

However I have done a few things to control people who directly compete with me in a stupid way. I am the GM of 4 of the largest open invite guilds on my main server. I don't let them in my guilds and I kick them when i see them doing retardedness.... I also whisper them I have had complaints about their activities. Which in some situations causes them to slow the fuk down and stop botting 24 hours a day on the same routes during peak hours.

EDIT: Same routes as in they use the same routes over and over, not myself. I use private profiles most of the time.

If everyone were like you, you would most likely have even more bans.

Do you know, how obvious it may look for normal players sometimes?

They've probably seen you at the same route for 4-8 hour straight(or the same zone)
They've noticed that you, tend to post way to many auctions at the auction house. More than any normal player would.
If you haven't been farming the mats, and bought them from the AH. Then blizzard can check that. And unlist your account etc.
There are several things, that may make players think that you are a bot.

So if you are having problems with other people who do the same.
Then you should gtfo of here IMO.

Something similar happened to me today, with a few of my guild mates catching me with my bot on. They're probably going to report me, is there anything you guys would suggest? My idea is to do some instances and grind some gear on my alt, make him look like a real character and hold the bot for a few days. Though does anyone have any better suggestions?

 

meh my guildies have also spotted me doing some " suspicious activities " i just told them its not their business what i do in the game and why they are wasting time stalking me, nothing biggie .

just because thery are your guildies, they dont differ from a non-guildie player report , if u wanna stay in the guild then lay low

I wouldn't be worried tbh. Guild mates usually don't back stab each other, Not only that if they just 'catching on' then just slow down for a day or two or keep an eye on it at all times.

to be honest.. i am with mrfrosty. i get bans every day. for abuse of economy, for 3rd party programs for hacking... for whatever. but i dont care. if an acc is banned, the next one is waiting already. thats just pixels to give me a nice amount of nonpixel money to enjoy my life.
i am sure other botters are reporting me, so why shouldn't i report other botters?

honestly... i have an account, never touches a bot, never does any auctions, never do anything. i played it to lvl 90 accs on several servers by hand, and just flying around my bots. if i find other botters, i will report them. why not? they do same with me.

but the 5k story is a nice idea, maybe i will set up some 5$ accounts to collect from other botters

They have no idea what they are doing with thier poorly configured shit.

But i can't in my heart find a reason to report them.
