Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Quad CPU Q6600 @ 2.40GHz GeForce GT 240 4gb OCZ DDR2 PC2-8500 / 1066 MHz / Reaper HPC Edition / Dual Channel If running on lowest graphics settings and all windows as small as possible what do you think? Also if one thing could be upgraded which would make a significant difference what would it be? Thanks
thats odd considering when running on my laptop (which is probs half the spec) a few years ago with glider i could run 6 but that was pushing it
Mop is more "graphically" demanding than lets say bc/wrath was, id say around 3-5 pushing it if you could upgrade anything grab a new CPU/MOBO.
u can run more dude.. im running 4 atm with this CPU AMD Athlon 64 X2 5400B 4.0 GB DDR2 GeForce 9500GT Windows 7 Ultimate 64 +watching movies/youtube, skype and msn i dont get ppl from this forum running bots with 50-80fps wtf? whats the point its freaking bot he doesnt care just reduce graphics to low and fps to 15-20.. thats it
From OP's spec I would say around 5-6 bot's on lowest settings and resized windows to pretty small, if anything it will be the RAM which would be the limiting factor. You also need to take into consideration the FPS for HB to work, you could have many more than 6 clients open but if they struggle too much then there is no point.
Each wow on my PC is around 400mb RAM + HB Quadcore 4.1ghz = 5-10% CPU per wow I'd say you could run at least 6+ fairly easily
Dont guess, do the math, Look at how much resources 1 bot and 1 wow use, leave about 20% for the OS to use, then divide the limiting factor buy how much 1 is using. Graphics is kind of not important, unless you want to have 10 bots all visible on the monitor at one time, a window behind a window is not rendering anything and not using much GPU. So keep the windows all stacked and cycle through them to make sure they are not doing stupid things every now and again.
