[N] [Achievement] World Explorer Project [To Include MoP]

I do have an issue, I tried writing a profile for Bloodmyst and Azuremyst but because I am Horde there are a few spots where the bot would just run into the guards and die over and over. I have no intention of making an alliance toon, so unless an alliance player would like to contribute there will be a few missed zones that you will have to get yourself.

Its not a gatherbuddy profile. Are you using the Quest bot?

EDIT: It misses camp everstill in redridge mtns. doesn't go far enough or down enough.

 

I am working on making it switch profiles on its own. Its more difficult to figure out where the errors are if it does it before the profiles are working flawlessly. Don't worry, in the final release it will be completely AFKable.

Does it only explore in Pandaria or also clicking lore objects?

 

Right now its only exploring, once it can explore each zone properly I will add the scroll interaction in Pandaria. Just been low on free time lately so the development has slowed.

However Blasted Lands is now operational, let me know if there are any issues with it now.

 

Looking for more testers and reports. Also need suggestions for what achievements you guys would like achieved while this bot is flying around the world.

 

Update: Achievement checking is possible, thanks to Makakli (sp?) for that info. Did a rough test of it and profile switching will be added very soon. Deepholm will be done soon, however the two Alliance zones on Kalimdor will not be, still need an alliance player to aid me with the coordinates.

 

Updating the SVN with a test of the new system for Kalimdor only.

What it does:
Checks to see if you have already explored the zone.
If you have, switches profiles.
If you haven't, explores zone and switches profile.

Currently you must start this bot on Durotar.xml for it to explore all of Kalimdor automatically.

 

Has anyone actually tested this since I updated Kalimdor profiles? I need feedback people, I can only run this profile so many times. Especially with the achievement checking process.

 

Bumping for interest. Honestly if I could get any feedback this would be done a lot faster.

 

I have Kalimdor complete so I cant test it sorry, really want you to finish the project though.

You could run the Kalimdor one and let me know if its giving you any errors or if its exploring the zones even though they are already complete. That would also help.

I have been slowly working my way through the other continents. I'm kind of skipping in between parts of this project, and the Pandaria one is a fair bit cleaner than most of the other profiles so far. So after I do the general switching of the profiles I plan on working on Pandaria to do individual zone section explorations and redoing all of the waypoints in the other zones for easier coding and achievement additions.

I will eventually rename this project and change the SVN to an Achievement pack as its primary purpose now is to just get you a bunch of achievements. I think running this profile once on your bot accounts may help it look less suspicious. Having more achievements done than regular bot accounts could make you seem more like a regular player.

 

Started the Durotar file and nothing for me... I didnt move. Stopped after about five minutes.
