Vine-*****ed Junkbox vale pickpocket farm

This is my first profile I created after searching for one to farm Vine-*****ed Junkbox, I am still testing it out if anyone has some improvements please let me know I am new to this.

Area:


Farm: Shao-Tien Precursor

This is a Phased area meaning I have did 0 quests in Vale of Eternal Blossoms, I have not even opened the doors- these mobs will not be around if you have quested in vale I am sorry.

Some things are needed to do before you download the grind profile.

1. Download this rogue CR http://www.thebuddyforum.com/honorb...gue/83289-fightthisway-proxs-pick-pocket.html

2. Open the rogue class file for combat.cs and edit the line at the top to say Me.Range 9 (I have only used combat spec so I am not sure if the other two will pickpocket you can try)

3. Glyph of Pick Pocket (This is a must have) I also use Glyph of Pick Lock because you are going to be picking alot of boxes hopefully.

4. This was tested with my rogue I bought the green 408 ilvl set to test Len at Arms - NPC - World of Warcraft, I had a few deaths with 3+ mobs. If you are 463+ ilvl you should have no problems here the mobs are wimpy.

5. I set the mailbox and vendor at Shrine of Seven stars Mail works but it gets stuck at repair vendor so I have took it out, profile is still running for 1 hour so far I got 15 Junkbox, some cloth from kills, 2 ancient gao-lai cache keys <-- (dont expect too much of these you don't kill mobs unless they see you) some green items, and a couple hundred gold from pickpocking.

6. Mailbox for [N] grind profile is set at Mistfall Village so horde can use also. This is also a closer run for alliance.

I ran this about 4 hours total neting 45 junkbox, still looking for reason why it runs to mail might move the mailbox closer their is one in mistfall village, also trying some plugins to use traveler's tundra mammoth to repair and sell.

 

Is this absolutely only for alliance?

EDIT: They are here for Horde also.

 

Its for alliance because of mailbox I do not have horde location for mailbox, just delete the mailbox out of xml and it should work with just farming.

 

Ran it for 3 hours starting out with 1782G no junkboxes, stoped it with 2080g 38 junkbox.

After opening all junkboxes I now have 2564g 9 healing pots 1 imperial amethist from junkboxes, 19 cloth, 3 greens, 1 guo-lai cache key from aggroed mobs, and 125 gold of grey vendor crap.

I will be moving mailbox for a neutral farm location and upload it so horde can try also and let me know if they find any problems.

 

have not yet tried this profile, about to, but you should add engineering mailbox support xD

 

It would appear to me, that the grind area is waay to large for the NPC spawning area. (IE, roaming the spider / trickster ruins areas where no Shao -Tein are)

 

If you have spiders and trickster here you have quested in vale this is a phased area once you start the golden lotus quests the mobs are gone.

Using the neutral profile. Looking good so far. Haven't had any of them "catch" me yet so that's a plus . As for mailbox/etc, I'm not sure yet because my bags are far from full. Will let you know if anything goes wrong though. Thanks for the profile(s)

 

So this spot actually works? Blizz didn't nerf it?

 

My guy keeps attacking the mobs, maybe cause I am assassin spec?

 

So far so good. They have pockets and they can be picked.

As for the attacking mobs, maybe you are just getting close enough to be spotted and get aggro? or does it just flat out attack them?

 

Just flat out attacks them, and always runs past the spiders and gets attacked

 

What routine are you using? that may be the cause.

 

Sorry been out of power past few days. I'm glad this is working for y'all.

@doctorsatan I have only tried the combat spec for prox pickpocket, I don't know enough about CR's but everything in assassination looks like it should work. I will play with assassination some see if I can learn what the problem is, until then try out combat rogue its working like a charm.

 

My guy walks into them and doesnt pickpocket so often... I did change the thingy to 4.9 too... What do? got glyphs also.

 

If you got the glyph of pickpocket change the range to 9 not 4.9 you are getting too close.

Okay it works a LITTLe better now. I dont see how people can make so much money with this. He barely pick pockets.. He walks to them, and does Discract on himself so the mobs look at my guy and gets attacked. If not, he walks to a mob, and changes target very quickly, before even pickpocketing.. Any tips? I pick pocketed a bit myself without the bot and I got the epic dagger haha. After some boxes. LOL

I removed Distract from the CC thingy. I dont get attacked now, but Its still the same problem with it not pick pocketing. He goes up to a mob, and before he pick pockets he changes target (Not always, pick pocketing works, but he skips many mobs.)
