Just got hit on all accounts I was running between 3 computers at the same time. I left them to watch tv for maybe 30 minutes, came back and all were offline.

Botted about 16 hours a day for the last 5-6 weeks using SoR accounts with kickazz leveling scripts and a megaroute for farming. I posted around 300 auctions a day by hand on each account. (did not use any kind of ah plugin)

I knew the risks and am not worried, knew it was coming. Already have 50 more accounts from the $15 Best Buy MoP sale stacked up and a new pc build on newegg. I'll be going to 24hr schedule as I dont see much difference that would make vs my 16hr schedule.

My guildbank account that never botted just stored and made auctions is untouched.

Ty for your time, hope this gives useful information to someone out there.

I just got all my accounts banned also. I was doing same exact thing you are. All SOR accounts and used kickazz profiles for leveling and then Gatherit mega route for gathering. Had about $300 worth of gold I was going to sell tomorrow, but they got me before I could.... :(

I am interested to know more about your guildbank account. Do you send all your herbs/ore to that one account from all your bot accounts and use that account to post auctions and store gold?

I post the majority of my auctions from the individual botting accounts so they show up under different names on the ah. Some of the mats I send to my bank only account to sell or prospect and stuff.

Offtopic, but what is the build you bought?
Or what is the build that allows you to run 33 bots at the same time?
I was thinking in an i5-3570k to bot with 10 accounts, do you think it's possible?

Well this isn't a build discussion thread so try to keep that out, but I'll give a TLDR about my setup: one laptop i7 16g ram and 660 video running 6; a 3570k 16g ram 660 video running 10, and a 3930 (socket 2011) 32g ram 670 superclocked 4gig vram running 17.

Ordering another 3930 setup to bring my total bots to 50 while I stream league all day. Cox Cable mid-tier business connection costs me $300 a month roughly, and no, I don't really notice an increase in my electric bill.

so running this many bots has obviously paid for itself and more already right? Do you run into any problems with the SOR accounts? I heard recently they are watching activity on these accounts more and checking if names match and other stuff.

Ive always heard SOR accounts are a no go to bot on, not sure if its true or not but heard they are allowed to monitor SOR accounts, not sure if its just activity time or what, but id say bout 90% ppl botting on SOR accounts get hit fast with the hammer, i have 16 toons that are 90 and never ran into any issues regaurding a ban/suspension. i definitly blame it on the SOR/Scroll of resurection

I picked up all of my accounts on the day that Best Buy had the $15 MoP sale and bought SoR accounts for around $10 each worth of gold that I had from botting earlier last year before I quit my job and botted full time. So figure $25 per account was what I lost x 33 = $825. My bots on average including their leveling from 80-90 made $300 a day for the duration that they were alive. So the profit not including pc hardware, internet cost, or electricity (minor) was around $9000 for 5-6 weeks. Factor in the PC investments I've made getting to that point if you want a net income for a little over 1 month. I'd say my entire pc setup is worth around $5000 for everything to run 50 bots.

I think that should explain why I'm starting even bigger as we speak. I'll check this thread periodically as I get up and going again today.

no problems with volume? IE too much gold to sell bottleneck?
how much were you getting paid per k?
300 a day over 33 bots is quite impressive

If your big on selling gold always have an account untouched and not connected as a guild master. Also always remember to store your gold in the guild bank.

Even if a SoR account gets banned in a wave the follow week after you stop botting, you still make a nice profit after investment. Botting from 80-90 using kicks scripts never draw a ban. After that you're safe to bot 24/7 for at least a week until they hit you. Chances are if you get 1 report from a player at any time during your botting, it's going to flag you for a ban regardless, so you may as well just go 24/7 and edge out as much profit as possible in the window between banwaves.

Even paying $40 for mop, $15 for a game card, and 8-12$ for a SoR account, that money is more than made back after the 2nd day of botting at 30k per day (which is a reasonable expectation). So, if your smart and start your gathering on a Tuesday after the bans go out you'll get another 5 days of pure profit per bot.

Just avoid gatherits profiles when you do this, less nodes per hour due to the honorbuddy ignoramus' using pub profiles, and more attention from assholes who bot and will report you faster than they can put another Dorito in their mouth.

It would really be hilarious to find out precicely how much money Blizzard has made from Digital MoP sales from scenarios such as this. They must know that the only people actually using SoR accounts are people running botting software. Sure they always ban the account, but you never see a refund on that MoP purchase, do you?

Honorbuddy is probably the only thing keeping this shithole game in the fucking black.

Also, I will add my condolences for your loss, but I give you credit for viewing it strictly as a business expenditure, and I give you even more credit for realizing the profit which can be made this way. I do what you do, but on a much smaller scale.
