      Hello,

I have botted today with several breaks and nearly 85% monitoring. I tempted to write something in guild chat or chat with my mates once in a while when the bot was doing his work. But now I'd like to keep the bot on (Questing - Kick's Level 68 - 80) and I'm level 72. Would I risk it or is the risk to big?

Or should I set my computer to shut down in a few hours?

I wouldnt risk it. Level the bot when your watching. this is the dangerous time.

My personal opinion is if your leveling you should always be by the comp. BGbuddy was the only way i would leave it while leveling but with recent BG bans it just isnt worth it.

I'll start the bot up again now. Did 2 cycles of about 4 hours today with a few hours of break in between. I'll let it run for about 3 more hours and then go to bed.

Any additional tips to make it even less clear that I'm botting besides from popping some things in the guild chat now and then and talking to some mates as a proof that I'm not AFK (if the GM's claim so I can provide the chatlogs as proof I was not).

Casters seem to be ok in bgs running. I let my lock run over night and never had any kind of a warning.

I'm a monk. Not doing BG's, only questing. I'd rather not risk anything.

Never be 100% AFK while leveling. Just watch a movie and keep wow in the background.

Personally I would not dare leave a quest bot on overnight. Intact I wouldn't do it with any type of bot grinding, BG, dungeonbuddy etc.

You should be trying to look human and while people do play 24 hours + it would still bring attention to you. As a bot I'm sure you wouldn't really want that :)

If I'm away from the computer I remote in every so often with teamviewer. The android app is enough to see if your toon is stuck or needs to be restarted. (Can also be used to shut down in emergency situations)

running bgbuddy over night is really a stupid thing to do. did you ever watch your toon doing bgs at night? its like 90% buddys and even a person without a clue can spot this. i dont run bgbuddy at all any more because its just to obvious if 5 guys running exactly the same route and wait for the exact same time at the same spot

Questing is not safe to bot overnight? The only thing I would ever do overnight is grinding. Questing level 80+ has to many quests that you need you to do. In my opinion grinding is the only safe overnighter, and even then the hours you grind should not be excessive as not to many real life people will grind one spot for 12 hours+ without doing anything else. (Makes people suspicious)

I set my bot to quest from 81 over night, was fine, didn't stop. Although, I do want to mention, if you die during the boat quests, you need to do them manually (so if an opposite faction player kills you) and there is 1 quest and the end of the deepholme chain that needs to be done manually, its the one inside the tower where you need to kill the elemental and 12 humanoids.

But tbh, best to BG bot over night imo. Thats when all the bots are on. I usually run IOC and AV since there are 40 people and you are unlikley to be reported.

which is why they need to update/change this to deviate somewhat or allow profiles. It is awfully obvious and too bad. Bgs are one of the only things I feel the need to bot/do bot and its risky. Its too mundane/repeititive/grindy. Comng from someone who appreciates and understands the need for a grind thats saying something.

In summary - wow is a mess. Its time to move on >.>
