Just something I was wondering if anyone has any real experience on the following... Does it make any difference if you move your char from an account that has been suspended once to a clean one? Would you get another suspension if caught in the new account or would they ban you as if you were in the original account?
haha, was thinking about the same, as blizzard gm only said the account is under further supervision and not the character after i have been suspended... so maybe loose the caught account to sell gold on ebay to final ban it and safe your goods on another account or sth. would also like to know that answer! /push
That's a good question, Let's bump this up and get some input, I think this is very important question, it should only make sense to be able to move your char and not be responsible for the old account? I think the username of the account is where the suspension data/history is held and retained, so if you move your char to a different account, can it be a different Bnet account? Would it be a different username? That should work right?
I was mostly thinking moving into another account in the same BN account but for completeness it would be nice to find out about both possibilities. Normally when one account is suspended the other accounts in the same BN are unaffected and you would normally get a suspension first on those. So my guess is moving the char would be OK. But that is only a guess.
I think after the transfer, your second BN account will be also flagged and you've high risks to loose the two accounts (not the BN) at the same time. Same problem with SOR invitations received from flagged account. They can track gold transfer therefore they can track char transfer it's my opinion
I am also on my wow6. Loads of suspensions and bans. Can't remember how many. However I never got suspended in my main account until last month so that's why I ask. I am scared to use HB again so I will first move the char to a clean account. I was hoping for "actual" experience in this area. As for guesses I have mine and I think it will be OK given my past experience where one account was never banned straight away even though others in the same BN had either already been banned or suspended.
