With the official release of the directx11 client, I am announcing the end of life for the directx9 client. With the possibility of SE dropping dx9 support midway thru stormblood and almost assuredly doing so for the next expansion coupled with the extraordinary effort required to update for stormblood + our new navigation antistuck made this the best time to end support. Now instead of having to spend time on porting features back and forth efforts can be better focused on improving the bot. For CN users, when the CN region gets stormblood the dx9 client will be dropped and a dx11 client supplied. I know this will effect a very small portion of our users but I think this is the best course of action to take. You can the information for the dx11 client here: https://www.thebuddyforum.com/threa...-1-0-143-directx11-x64-bit-compatible.241331/ I will be rolling out an update to the dx9 client to upgrade to the dx11 client, but results are not guaranteed, so your best bet will be to do a clean install. Please see this thread for the latest version of rebornbuddy
Then you haven't been paying attention. Yoshi p on several occasions has mentioned the dropping of dx9. They were originally planning on dropping it this expansion when they ended ps3 support.
