[GatherAssist] Gather multiple items with a single command

Hey, when I launch RB theres no option for Gatherer Assist in the plugin. I'm using v1.1.5 with the SVN, and the log says:

I think, post 211 has an updated file for you to put in to the folder that should get it to show up. It worked for a while.

 

Gather Assist not using Kings Yield II on items. It seems as though the object type gatheringItem can't read the Gathering percentage correctly. Here is what is showing up in the logs for Mythril ore on my 50 MIN.

It looks like the properties are shifted or something. Whoever wrote the object class needs to fix the function that returns the list of gatheringItems and correct the way the properties are filled.

SVN require password wtf

 

No it doesnt, just connected with tortoise without problems.

 

Not sure how to get GatherAssist working...First it wasn't in the plugins option so I downloaded the file from post 211 then. Now the bot is crashing when I try to open the bot. Log is attached.

Have you tried a fresh RB folder? I committed the SVN in the first post, then snagged the file in post #211 and replaced the existing one in the SVN folder and RB hasn't crashed for me (yet). Looked under the Plugins tab and it was there. Opened up the configuration and the GUI showed up fine as well. Will test out the functionality this evening, but so far it seems to be working fine (no crashes).

Yeah this was a fresh installation, these were my steps.

• Create New RB Folder
• Put in Fresh RB Download
• SVN Checkout GatherAssist in Plugins Folder
• Download file from post 211 and replace the file inside GatherAssist Folder

That is what I done and its crashing as soon as I click the login button. Its not crashing inside RB but through the windows.
It all opens up fine if I don't put in that replacement file.

 

I have gatherassist in the plugins and it's listed...but when I put in cotton boll and click okay, it just plays the complete sound and does nothing.

Here's what it says in the bot window:

Just tested this for a few minutes tonight and it does appear to work as-intended with the SVN + post #211 update. Going to test it further when possible.

While it does work, between items, it gives the impression that the bot has hit an error and has stopped completely; after 10-20 seconds, RB fires up again and moves on to the next item. Not exactly the most intuitive feeling.

It's definitely an interesting plugin, that's for sure.

 

Actually, it does. Just tried to DL it myself and have been botting for years. The current link definitely requires a password and login.

 

Thats because the original post is unsupported and people are referring to two SVN's. The OP's SVN is password locked but this one is not.

Then you need to get the gatherassist.cs file from post 211 to switch out so it still works.

 

Still not working for me!!!

After updating the SVN to latest + post form 211, gatherassist will stop gathering after the first node, and not move on to the rest of the nodes to gather the 300 logs i had set for it to gather. Also when it stops if i hit START in RB it will start back and seems to run fine until it reaches the 300, it will then stop again and will never move on the next item in queue. Plz tell me im just doing something wrong!!!

Yeah pretty much the same experience I've had with gatherassist since HW, but now that we have Lisbeth, and profiles for more or less everything else floating around. I really rarely use Gatherassist,

I dont' know if anyone is still using this plugin, but if so, it is a quick fix. Try replacing GatheringWindow with GatheringManager. Hopefully that is all you need.

 

Yes, ExMatt is right. Also, latest version is by Aringarosa on github. I'll see about getting a pull request created to correct the GatheringManager issue. I'm also looking into adding missing items.

 

I tried using this fix, and it gave me a different error.
