[Fate/Stay: Teleport] Fate Leveling & Atma

Fate/Stay: Teleport

Description

Simple plugin for Fate Bot that will teleport your character to different zones as you level up, or as you farm atma according to the JST atma theory. You can change the functionality on the Settings by writing "Leveling" or "AtmaHunting" in the mode field. You can further alter each zone's leveling range to customize them to your needs, add new zones, or ignore specific zones. It will only teleport to zones who's aetheryte you already unlocked, so make sure your character has unlocked them.

Download

1. Download the zip folder.
2. Extract it and move it inside your plugins folder, so that it looks like: "/Rebornbuddy/Plugins/FateStayTeleport".

Haha, you beat me to the Atma Hunter. :) Was plugging it into the Animus Book Plugin but no need now.

Well Neverdyne, as you undoubtedly know, I've been waiting for this one. Thanks a bunch!
The old AtmaHunter plugin was giving me trouble. Going to try this one out immediately! :)

Just added a new settings option:

AtmaAmount: 1

Change it to the amount of atmas you want for each kind. Haven't tried it yet, but it should stop farming a zone if you already have that amount of atmas from that zone.

Does that mean it will override the JST setting and go farm another zone?
Say you wanted, 9 atmas. You farm up 9, and you're still in the same JST time period, What does it do at that point? Logically I would think you'd want it to go to the next area (according to the JST settings) that you need to farm.

It skips the zones for which you already have the X atma you want. So let's say that:

Zone A - 1:00 p.m.
Zone B - 2:00 p.m.
Zone C - 3:00 p.m.

When it's 1:00 it'll go to Zone A, and normally it would continue to Zone B when 2:00 hits. But if instead you already have X atmas from Zone B, then it'll stay in Zone A until 3:00, at which point it moves to Zone C.

my settings is just a blank notepad file except for "Zones: []", and when I hit start on fatebot it just farms fates in the area I am in. even after I placed the example from your first post in the settings file

is there something I am missing? is there a file to copy and toss in to start it as an example of what I need to write? thanks for doing so much work on this stuff for everyone

Hey Neverdyne, great work as always.

Just curious, do you think there's any credibility to that theory? Seems to me it's just standard RNG and they're reinforcing an imagined pattern by going nuts when it coincidentally drops within a theorised window, ignoring the fact they drop outside said windows and any actual increase in droprates is a result of more players farming during those windows - it became a self-fulfilling prophecy of sorts.

It's the same as the directional crafting theory in XI (which was absolute nonsense, we tested it extensively). Someone came up with a theory about facing certain directions and everyone started doing it, then when they got an HQ it somehow became proof of the theory, despite the fact they were still getting NQs too. But there'd be a few who'd coincidentally hit a good run of HQs (that being the nature of RNG) and they'd be insisting it was absolute confirmation of the theory, then even those of us who doubted it ended up doing it because we didn't want to risk the fact we might be wrong and waste a potential fortune in mats. Over time, people stopped considering it a mental theory, everyone was doing it and it was just an accepted thing - even when testing showed absolutely no evidence of it being accurate.

Like the directional crafting thing in XI, the fact is, there's no harm in trying (but potential harm in not doing so) so these things tend to take on a life of their own. I just think it's another one of those things people come up with to try and make sense of RNG personally.

There's probably something wrong with the settings then, I'll take a look at it tomorrow. I'm not entirely sure about the theory either, I guess I could add an option to turn it off or on.

Square has always been exceptionally bad at making solid RNG.
With that in mind, I think it's worth considering the theory to be true, same with directional crafting in XI.

Of course, directional crafting had lots of directions for lots of stuff, its easiest to tell with raw numbers.

I left RB going for like 4 hours running atmas to "whatever zone you need them for", and got 0.
Later I use the JST settings and in 4 hours i get 10 atma.

The scales seem too weighted to not have at least a possibility of truth.

thanks, also the folder it creates when I unzip it into my plugins folder is "plugin" it shows the proper name in the bot window though, not sure if that has something to do with the settings or not but all the other plugins I have used so far says the name of the bot

I have 11 relics, all of them are between Aniums and Zeta, done them before and after the drop rate increase. Across 2 different accounts, the JST theory is shit lol its just a theory, I purposly fought my friend on this while he did his, he used JST and I didn't and I still beat his, 4/4 times. Its literally all down to RNG. Not saying don't do it, if it makes you feel better but its not increasing your odds, people even think that it gives you a increased drop rate while in a party(I always had my bird out so) or that if you leave a zone before getting the atma it resets some magic multiplier that increases your chances over time.

I run atma hunter for the first 7 so far and it usually takes 7-10 hours to collect a set and if I let it go it stays in one zone and I ended up with extras of the last one, best run was 9 atma of the archer in 3 hours after I got the first one, some say they drop faster if you already have one but I am thinking the jst isn't working any better then just straight farming but I do not complain if the bot does the zone swaps,

I left it on for like, a long ass time, I looked back to find only one atma, then I watched the bot for a few minutes, it refused to pick up FATE's as "valid" until i stopped/restarted it, then it ran directly to them.

I jacked the log right after I stopped/started it again, so the resulting problem should be very close to the end.

Are you using the very last version I uploaded like 1 hour ago? Mine is working fine so far, can't seem to reproduce your problem.

Hmm, it might be advisable to clear the POI or something to let Fate Bot know we're on a different zone now.
