Reborn buddy authenticates but no gui shows Essentially my reborn buddy will authenticate my key but will not launch (well the gui will not materialize to be exact) This is running windows 10, dx11 ff14, and using the 64bit latest version of reborn buddy... attached is the log. View attachment 8840 2016-08-08 15.33.txt Small update - if I turn on DX9 in ff14, and use the 32bit launcher everything works perfectly. It has to do with dx11 apparently and I cannot figure it out myself. Okay after looking a bit more into this it appears to be an issue with: https://www.thebuddyforum.com/rebor...windows-10-anniversary-update-rb-x64-log.html I have the anniversary update. That is likely the case as my log looks similar to their log.
Thanks for the report. I'm not sure whats causing this as I've got the update on two of my machines and they don't seem to be effected.
No problem, let me know if you need something tested. For now I'll just switch into dx9 when needed. Aside from this, I tried uninstalling various visual redis. packages and testing that way. That didn't change anything so I re-installed them. I wonder if it's a certain program trying to access the same memory location? I'm not keen on the in-outs of windows memory usage or anything and this is my first time using reborn buddy so it was a bit saddening to see it not work on dx11.
I'm getting the same issue, also using anniversary edition. Things I've tried: * No other apps running (fresh format to anniversary edition) * D/Led 1.0.70.0 and used it with no plugins or settings to speak of * Used the Administrator account (net user /active:yes administrator) * Used an MS account and non-MS account * Uninstalled the Xbox apps * Enabled Developer Mode * Disabled defender I can take the memory address given in the log, open it in Cheat Engine, and write values to it. Attached is the log from me trying it. I'm cool with trying to test anything as well.
