      [SIZE=+1]Singular-specific issues[/SIZE]
      After a discussion with Bobby53, we are no longer capturing issues here against Singular. Bobby53 has a very thorough and efficient work flow that is independent of the HBcore bug tracking process. We will just need to give him time to 'catch up' to the changes imposed by WoD. He is well aware of all the issues that people have been reporting, and just needs time to address them.

      [SIZE=+1]Bugs in danger of being discarded, due to lack of details[/SIZE]

      [SIZE=+1]Awaiting Confirmation[/SIZE]

      [SIZE=+1]Cannot reproduce[/SIZE]
      Bugs marked as "cannot reproduce" are usually due to problems with your particular Honorbuddy installation. For instance, third-party products that are not working correctly—you should disable Buddy Store streaming for all products. Another cause is interference from external programs or addons. Your best way to recovering from this always starts with a clean install.
      If you continue to experience problems after conducting a 'clean install', and disabling the streaming of all products from the Buddy Store, you should seek help in the Support forum with your log that captures the issue.

      • HB-702: CollectItem from GameObject quests are broken
        "Was not reproducible (used one of the first quests for dwarfs). Since this was an older bug report, it may have easily been overcome by subsequent events."

        "Problem appears to have been fixed when when area was remeshed after launch of WoD. We have been taking mesh reports directly from Community Developers since there were too many to make single reports at launch of WoD."
      • HB-1516; AutoEquip making bad gearing decisions
        "Closed. Have had no more feedback from the user and this problem is probably due to the gems, which already has a ticket."

      [SIZE=+1]Post dispositions[/SIZE]
      These posts have been archived for the reasons stated here.

      Problem should be resolved in the Support forum
      Your problem can probably easily be resolved with a clean install, and turning off the use of all third-party products—including all products from the Buddy Store. There is a strong chance the repair for your issue resides in the Honorbuddy:HelpDesk. However, if you are unable to resolve the problem using these resources, then by all means make a new post in the Support forum. And please, don't forget to attach your full, unedited log that captures the issue

      Using third-party products that have not been updated for pre-WoD
      Once again, we draw your attention to the bright red letters in the first post that are easy to overlook

      Missing critical information (logs, screenshots, etc.)
      Your post may also be archived "without comment" for this reason. The posts listed here made an effort to report the problem, but the information provided was insufficient to create a bug report (e.g., wrong log, partial log, screenshot needed, etc)

      Didn't check the "Known Issues" list

      Log is not against the current release

      Our servers are being hammered with DDoS and we believe that you and the people you link to are being filtered wrongly. Expanding on what Apoc told you in another thread, can you set up a continuous ping to eu3.auth.buddyauth.com and run a tracert when it fails? This can be done using the following .bat script:
      Code:
      :start
      ping eu3.auth.buddyauth.com
      if %errorlevel% equ 1 (goto fail) else (goto start)

      :fail
      tracert eu3.auth.buddyauth.com

      When you have saved this in a .bat file (such as diagnose.bat), run the following command from a CMD window:
      Code:
      diagnose.bat > log.txt

      This will create a log.txt file and continuously update it until the connection fails (so when the command line allows you to enter input again, it is done). When it is done, we will need the log.txt file.
      I'm sorry for the issues this has caused but it seems to be an issue with our server provider.

      If it helps, I am running multiple sessions on multiple IPs and whenever I get the dreaded "Auth session is invalid" it only affects one HB client, all the others are fine.

      Sometimes it also occurs to one client when booting up, but the other clients that share the same credentials (key, ip, computer, network and etc) will boot up without a problem.

      I believe the first "session is invalid" happened to me on the first of December and the frequency has gone up since then, though widely varying between morning and evening (1 per hour or 10+ per hour). At least, I didn't find such an event in my logs from November doing a quick search.

      Hope it helps.

      Hi, Imtakinusrs,

      Many thanks for the eloquent justification for the feature. We've open HB-1658 ("Use Flying Mounts as Ground Mounts (at least in Draenor)?") against the issue.

      We understand that this appears to be an 'easy thing to do', but its not. We'll refer you to some of the problems with using flying mounts as ground mounts discussed here:

      We might be able to do this for Draenor, but we will be unable to do in the rest of the world for the reasons cited in the article. In the general world, because you may be (temporarily) in a non-flyable area, does not mean you will remain in a non-flyable area. When this transition is made, the problems start.

      cheers,
      chinajade

      Hi, all, and many thanks for the log!

      We've added this information to HB-1621 ("Hb tries to learn flight path in the wrong faction").

      cheers,

      Archiving this post.

      Once again this is NOT a bug in the Honorbuddy client, and does not belong in this thread. It is a NETWORK issue with your ability to contact the authentication server.

      The problem is being caused by MASSIVE DDoS, as previously explained SEVERAL times (in various thread, by several senior staff). The senior staff have graciously offered to work with you to see if there is something that can be done to abate the issue. Yet, the you have not taken the steps asked. From the last piece of information you provided with us to work with, you CONFIRMED your connection to communicate with the Auth server was not even leaving your local network.

      We understand your frustration, but any further posts you make in this thread on this topic will be deleted as OFF-TOPIC. The Support forum is the correct venue for getting this problem resolved.

      cheers,
      chinajade

      Hi, Blablub,

      We are not aware of any "vendoring" issue problems. It would be better to repair the underlying issue rather than place a band-aid. If Honorbuddy is wrongly vendoring items, please attach the full log that captures the event.

      cheers,
      chinajade
