Paid Account open for 6 years I believe this was due to my own foolishness and in one way i knew that this account had a ban coming.. Reason being this is the THIRD time i have had this account banned for 'Hacks' the first two times i was able to appeal with great success, i knew that the third time would most likely be the one where i got fucked, yet i still was pushing the bot at night time when i went to bed. Day of Ban (so to speak): The night before i turned on bot from 10PM-1AM , it was Farming Ore/Herb and mailing to an alt on same account. Logged in in the morning, collected and sold 35k worth of Ore/Herbs to some random i found in trade chat. Did not run bot during the day because the last ban i got for this account was 2 weeks ago, and was trying to lay low (so much for that) got an email around 4:05 saying i was banned for 'Reason for Closure: Terms of Use Violation -- Exploitative Activity: Unauthorized Cheat Programs ("Hacks")' I filed two appeals that night trying to get the account back claiming i didn't know what i was doing wrong and saying i was simply farming ore to get mounts, and get ready for the new season. First reply i got said they would not unban, the second time they said that they had multiple reps look and confirmed there findings and the ban would not be reversed or amended. Appealed for the third and final time tonight and got a one liner response. This penalty has already been upheld. Since i was SOL i decided to see if they would give my alt GM since it is a level 25, and was told due to the nature of the ban they could not help me and that my guild had to wait 90 days. Note: I have also been botting on 2 other accounts, with the same computer no V P N or anything and they have not been touched.. gladly i was able to toss all the gold i had in a GBank before i was banned so i will be able to collect it via my other two accounts. One account i have been botting more excesively than my main account I have now set up various VMs and am going to start botting in alot smarter way. If you have questions let me know
if you use gatherbuddy to fly around collecting ore/herbs for several hours a day you will eventually get banned. it doesn't make any difference what your IP is or what VM you are on
Yes of course everyone who bots will get banned eventually but if you use separaate IP's for all your bots and change the macs for your network card for each bot then you save more of your bots getting banned at the same time. The longer you keep your bots the more profit you make regardless of if you do it for gold personally or to sell gold. And that is the point of gatherbuddy
