Since quite a few were getting banned I thought I'd include this questing account (I usually don't)

1)Were you using Honorbuddy, Gatherbuddy or both on the account? Honorbuddy

2)Which version (and Beta or Release)?: Release

3)If so, when was the last time?: about an hour ago

4)What profile were you using?: Questing, 54-60 I think

5)What combat class were you using? if None Just put Default then the Classname: Singular

6)What plugins are you using?: Event based plugins except my ObjectCollector plugin

7)How many hours per day did you bot for?: Honestly don't monitor anymore

8)What honest percentage of time did you supervise your bot? 80%

9)How many auctions per day did you have?: 100-300

10)Did you Use Any Other Bots, Hacks, or Mods? Nope

11)Was your account involved in gold selling? Nope

      12)EU or US realm? EU

13)Is the banned account a Scroll of Resurrection or an actual paid account? Paid

I know why I got banned, it was due to player report as I was changing the code on my plugin and it caused stucks sometimes so obviously they can gather reports... plugin is fine now and I have had other questing accounts banned until I sorted out this plugin and the other plugins to avoid any stuck issues (making them all event-based only), I know this because I've leveled other characters up to level 70~ without an issue.

Don't need feedback on this, just another ban report.

Thanks for your sacrifices, Giwin... I can't begin to imagine how many accounts you've lost while developing and testing your plugins. Sucks that this one got banned, but on to the next one... :)

Giwin, since you are in the questing business:

What about the trap quests, which as the rumors here say, are developed by Blizzard, to catch botting scripts, for examle: looting visually invisible quest items, killing visually invisible mobs (By visual I meant, they are with transparent textures, but they are not invisible by the server, of course), or objects, placed underground, but still in range to be interactable?

GMs can do anything like teleporting you but they never do these days (although it's stated they still do this to AH bots since the scripts can't catch them all the time), all automated.. I think they're scripts in MoP land to protect against farmers but these are rumored to be certain flags like NPH, time online etc. I think they do scans every so often and then flag for a delayed ban so it goes in a wave which has been proven to be quite effective to scare off other botters.

it's mostly player reports you want to watch out for.

In the GB2 scene, reports are factor, no doubt, but time, spent daily on gathering is the most heavy fact out, from my humble experience. But as you stated, the picture is more complicated, than we think, because there are plenty of factors, interfering with the automated "play", so they must have been implemented them, to avoid as max as possible the false positives from the flag&ban pool.

I am sure, they vote for banning all bots, but they vote with both hands for keeping any paying customer to the subscription.
