Didnt hear about bans in swtor for a long long time, what the hell were you doing, you sure u were not connected with the exploit in anyway, like credits transfering or something like that.

They just switched the teams at swtor to find all exploiters, direct orders from ea. wasn't supposed to be about bots, but rather the stack exploits that has been going on. Guess they hitting everyone.

Not really, they messed it up big time, I know many users who used the exploit and have over 1 billion still. After that, I guess it pissed off some of the wrong ppl at EA, so now they got new orders and re-arranged the teams. Problems with the exploits includes all items in legacy storage was never removed, same with guild bank. So if you made millions from the exploit, put it in your bank, got banned, came back, you got all your money and stuff.

In short, they messed up, and now the hammer is coming down.

EDIT: I still don't know if this is related to it, just sounded a little too bad, that ppl are starting to get banned after the changes, their goal as I said, wasn't to find bots, but to hit and track the exploiters.

The support team has Always been sucky at best since launch.
They banned also banned me with exploit but did a terrible job after.
I got stuff removed that wasnt from the exploit and have kept stuff that was from the exploit.
nevertheless, i doubt they can revert it back to pre exploit.

Also they are WAY to slow in fixing stuff, yeah they like new stuff to add but the exploit was intended to be covered up (hinting on the numerous reports that got deleted).

Never said they where capable of doing anything about it, just that swtor got lots of heat from EA due to current state of things. So if we suddenly see a ban wave, well it isn't completely unexpected. I would continue as normal for now, but keep an eye out, doubt they are going for bots atm.
